This week Fête du Mimosa or Mimosa Festival joined the other two festivals that were launched last week: the Lemon Festival in Menton and the Nice Carnival.  But the weekend has much more to offer than just festivals and we’ll tell you all about it.

Fête du Mimosa/Mimosa Festival

Like we said, The Mimosa Festival was inaugurated on February 15 this week. It’s a big traditional festival organized in Mandelieu-La Napoule every year in February that lasts a week. Mandelieu celebrates its flower symbol making the most varied decorations during parades, marching bands and flower parades. In 2017 The Mimosa Festival celebrates the 5 elements … Water, earth, air, fire unite to see the flower of Mandelieu in a sunny and carnival farandole. From 15 to 22 February, the whole city lives to the rhythm of these little suns which gave it the title of capital of the Mimosa. If you want to know the detailed program of the Festival, visit our Calendar, everyday there are several events united by the theme of Mimosa.
