This week and even more this weekend all eyes are fixed to thevclay courts of the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, wondering who’ll become the King of Clay. But tennis is not the only thing you can enjoy this weekend, there is a Dance Competition, a Symphonic concert, an Organ concert, a Football Match and much more.

14th edition of Top Marques Monaco

Top Marques Monaco, one of the world’s most prestigious supercar and luxury shows, returned to the Grimaldi Forum for its 14thedition and is running all the way through the weekend till 23rd April. State-of-the-art technology, innovation and exclusivity will once again be showcased at the luxury automobile event with four global supercars premieres already confirmed. Visitors from around the world will have the chance to discover more than 200 first-class products, from the latest electric supercars to bespoke jewellery, watches, superyachts and the latest luxury must-haves. Tickets are already on sale ranging from €18 to €250.

 

The Startup Weekend organized by the Junior Chamber of Economy of Monaco is surrounded and supported by mentors, successful entrepreneurs, personalities, and a prestigious jury. The objective of this event is to train, thanks to interactivity, a large community with a common focus in order to better understand the dynamics of the evolution of companies and to launch a project from the outset.

Who will win the title of Monte-Carlo Rolex MastersRafael Nadal is in the running for his tenth title in Monaco. A world record. He is the favorite again this year. Since 2005, only Novak Djokovic and Stanislas Wawrinka have succeeded in disrupting his streak by winning. See yourself the end of the tournament on Sunday April 23.

Football Match: AS MONACO vs. OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS

And another sports event this weekend is a football match, unfortunately, played outside the Principality: AS Monaco will meet with Olympique Lyonnais in French League 1, Day 34 on Sunday 23 April at 9.00 pm.

Christmas concert by OPMC

For music lovers this weekend is a Symphonic concert by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by David Lefèvre (also playing the violin) with Héloïse Hervouët, piano on Sunday 23 April, at 11 am Opéra de Monte-Carlo – Salle Garnier. On the programme: Edward Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten and William Walton. Tickets range from €17 to €50.

Eglise Sainte-Dévote

There is also an Organ concert by Marcello Formenti with Daniele Rodi, recorder, Carla Zetter Patiño, soprano and the Coro Sinfónico Inês de Castro from Coimbra conducted by Artur Pinho Maria, as part of the In Tempore Organi, IIIrd International Organ Cycle on Saturday 22 April, at 8.30 pm Eglise Sainte-Dévote.

12th Modern Jazz Dance Competition

Another form of art is presented by the 12th Modern Jazz Dance Competition, organised by Baletu Arte Jazz on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April, Variety Theatre.

Olive Festival

The Maison de l’Environnement in Nice organized on Saturday the 22nd of April the Olive Festival, the opportunity to share a family day under the sign of discovery and biodiversity!
