Music and art is definitely in the forefront of this summer in Monaco with lots of festivals scheduled in the area and various exhibitions and galleries opening up.
For those who like ballet the Viva Maïa – Gala with international star performers on 8 July 2017 is a must. Maïa Plissetskaïa marked the world of dance. Recognized as one of the last «Prima ballerina absoluta», she died in May 2015 after a 50 year career in ballet.
To keep her memory alive, Irma Nioradze has decided to organize a gala with international soloists.
On 2017 July 8th at 9 pm, she invites in Cannes the dancers who carry today the spirit of this great dance lady, demonstrating the most astonishing technique and the most dramatic expression. Viva Maïa – Gala d’étoiles internationales is produced by ASAKANELI ART in collaboration with the Palais des Festivals de Cannes.
There are two very different concerts this weekend, both are part of the series: the first one is The Stars 80 Tour on the 8th of July 2017, for the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival and the Fight Aids Monaco Night!
It’s already been ten years that the Stars 80 show has been touring all over France. More than three million enthusiastic spectators have already sung and danced to the rhythm of hits that will never go out of fashion, fluorescent wigs screwed onto heads and sequined glasses perched on the end of noses, plunging back into a youth that the stars of these perfectly orchestrated concerts have brought back to life. Makers of hits during a decade that was lavish with them, accompanied by their musicians and dancers, the star singers of the Top 50 hum the tunes that marked an entire epoch at a breakneck pace with no down time for almost three hours. The show will be in full swing as never before with the Stars of the 1980s.
Price 203,50 € per person excluding drinks. Dresscode: 80’s.
