We selected for you top 5 yacht stories of the last week at Yacht Harbour.

1. Tankoa S501 yacht Vertige to debut in Monaco

Tankoa Yachts has launched 50m superyacht Vertige, known as S501, at its facility in Genoa in February 2017. The project, sold at the beginning of 2015 to an experienced French client, has completed her sea trials in April and is now getting ready to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show.

2. Benetti delivers 2 Fast 125 line superyachts

The second and the third unit of the Benetti Fast 125’ line, Skyler and Constance Joy, have been delivered to their owners this month.

Both yachts, as well as the first unit Iron Man, are equipped with the new generation propulsion system designed by Rolls Royce specifically for the Fast 125’ family: the Azipull Carbon 65 (AZP C65), a high performance, lightweight, steerable thruster that uses carbon fibre throughout, even for load carrying parts. Thanks to the reduced weight, the system offers a quiet ride: the engine room can be placed farther aft, leaving the guest cabins quiet and vibration-free. Another advantage offered by this innovative propulsion system is the excellent manoeuvring capability both in navigation and while docking.

They share also a D2P_Displacement to Planing ® hull form with wave piercer bow that allows the owner to use the yacht in displacement mode with low fuel consumption at low speeds and in planning mode at higher speeds.

3. Lord Alan Sugar lists his 55m yacht for sale

Lady A, the 55-meter yacht bought in 2015 by Lord Alan Sugar, star of BBC’s reality show, The Apprentice, has now been listed for sale at an asking price of €14 million.

4. Feadship Hasna undergoing sea trials

The 73-metre Hasna was launched for an Australian owner on Saturday, June 3, by Feadship, making it the first yacht ordered by an Australian customer in the Dutch shipyard’s history. The superyacht has been recently spotted undergoing her sea trials on the North Sea.

5. Kismet spotted in Côte d’Azur

95.2m superyacht Kismet has been seen cruising in the South of France. She was built in 2014 by Lurssen and is owned by Shadid Khan, Pakistani-American billionaire and business tycoon, who is also the owner of the Fulham FC and Jacksonville Jaguars. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Reymond Langton Design and her exterior styling is by Espen Oeino.
