16th edition of the European Mobility Week: “sharing to go further”
16 September 2017 - 22 September 2017
At the initiative of the Directorate of Environment, the Principality is organizing the 16th European Mobility Week from 16 to 22 September in partnership with the Club of Electric Vehicles, Monaco Sustainable Development (MC2D) and the Monaco Town Hall.
The aim of this event is to encourage everyone to move “differently”: on foot, by bike, by electric vehicle, by car-pooling and public transport, alternative modes of transport.
From Saturday 16 to Sunday 17 September, a mobility party will take place at the Larvotto (Rose des Vents), from 10 am to 6 pm.
During these two days, free trials of two and four-wheel electric vehicles will be offered by Renault and Eccity. This will be the opportunity to get behind the wheel of electric vehicles such as the Twizy, the Zoe or the handlebars of electric two-wheelers like the Eccity.
The Mediterranean Institute for Studies and Sustainable Development IMEDD will present and facilitate mobility games.
