Concert of Jazz singer Diana Krall
11 October 2017| €103,50
Jazz singer Diana Krall will be performing in Salle des Etoiles, Monaco on October 11th.
Diana Krall learned music with her father, who taught her from an early age. Born in 1964 in British Columbia, Canada, she joined a jazz group as a teenager, where she performed at a local restaurant and tried her first auditions. Ray Brown, who introduced her to Jimmy Rowles (Ella Fitzgerald’s pianist), wrote her first album in 1993, “Stepping Out,” in which she invited some of the big names in jazz, such as Jeff Hamilton and John Clayton. “Love Scenes” earned her a Grammy nomination as the best jazz singer. With “When I Look In Your Eyes” (1999), her career becomes international and the Grammy Award does not escape her. After several albums and prizes won, Diana Krall released her latest album “Wallflower” in February 2015. There are very reinterpretations of “California Dreamin’ ” by The Mamas & the Papas and “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” of Elton John. An album realized as much for the neophytes as the purists. After performing at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival in July 2003, Diana Krall once again performed at the Opéra Garnier as part of the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival 2012. It was at the Gala of the Monegasque Red Cross, in 2014, that the singer and pianist remarkable returns to the stage of the Salle des Etoiles and performs her album entitled “Glad Rag Doll”. We will be happy to find her, at the Salle des Etoiles, on October 11, 2017 with her next album.
The seats for this concert will be on sale from 16 February on the site fr.montecarlolive.com at €103,50.
