Exhibition on “The Golden Age of the Watercolourists”, an exhibition of rare watercolors made between San Remo and Theoule, at a time when the Côte d’Azur was paradise in the eyes of the fortunate winterers, organised by the Federation of French Groups of Monaco from Tuesday 3 October to Saturday 4 November, Maison de France.
Artists watercolorists like Lessieux, Costa, Guiaud, Béthune, Harpignies and others have 3 floors of the House of France. Their works are embellished with numerous ceramics by the Magnat, Tardieu, Saïssi and Dalpayrat in the great days of the Menton and Monaco pottery.
The exhibition features about fifteen artists, 75 watercolors, a dozen ceramics from the same period, floral and animal inspiration, gouaches and oils sharing the same motifs and festive banners.
Monday-Friday: 10 am-12 pm and 2 pm-6 pm
Saturday: 1 pm-5pm
