Fête du Mimosa or Mimosa Festival
15 February 2017 - 22 February 2017
The Mimosa Festival is a big traditional festival organized in Mandelieu-La Napoule every year in February .
The Festivities last 8 days with the highlights that are the flower-filled corsos on the weekend.
Visitors can enjoy the hills in bloom and discover all the secrets of the mimosa during its flowering period from mid-January to early March.
Mandelieu celebrates its flower symbol making the most varied decorations during parades, marching bands and flower parades. In 2017 The Mimosa Festival celebrates the 5 elements … Water, earth, air, fire unite to see the flower of Mandelieu in a sunny and carnival farandole. From 15 to 22 February, the whole city lives to the rhythm of these little suns which gave it the title of capital of the Mimosa. The 3rd winter event of the Côte d’Azur celebrates the end of the season in an outburst of colors and smells!
