SUMMARY:Exhibition "Approach of a poet\, Act II" in Musée Jean Cocteau
DESCRIPTION:Following the first part\, entitled Démarche d’un poète (Approach of a poet\, act) with reference to Jean Cocteau’s key work\, the second part (Act II) completes the introduction of this approach by integrating Jean Cocteau’s passionate links with stage. \nJean Cocteau\, always in avant-gardes\, is looking for a modern and popular theater mixing tragedy\, comedy\, vaudeville and boulevard. He thus participates actively in the operation of destruction of the classical and academic heritage following the First World War\, by a frenzied mixture of genres\, including the noble genres (ballet\, theater) and popular\, including jazz\, cinema\, the circus and the music hall\, for which he has a sincere and well-informed taste. \nThis new course gives way to the crazy and sparkling comedy with The Parade and The Married of the Eiffel Tower\, but also tragedy\, dance and multiple artistic collaborations.

SUMMARY:Michel Blazy exhibition in Villa Sauber
DESCRIPTION:Michel Blazy exhibition from Saturday 16 December to Sunday 18 March from 10 am to 6 pm Nouveau Musée National – Villa Sauber. \nThe NMNM presents at the Villa Sauber a new monumental work by Michel Blazy entitled Collection de Chaussures (2015-2017)\, co-produced by the NMNM and the Monaco Cultural Affairs Department for the last edition of the Venice Biennale. Shoe Collection is made up of a metal structure as a frame\, inside which a light source is diffused and water conveyed\, all serving as food for different species of plants growing in 27 pairs of worn sneakers. \nIn two other rooms are presented works by Michel Blazy from the NMNM collections: Peau de Bête (2011) and Nature Molle (2004)\, which will be activated and presented for the first time in Monaco. \nMichel Blazy\, born in Monaco\, has acquired an international reputation thanks to its installations integrating living materials.  \nThroughout the exhibition\, visitors will be able to follow and document the slow transformation of these works in perpetual change.

DESCRIPTION:34th Primo Cup – Credit Suisse Trophy (1st weekend)\, organised by the Yacht Club of Monaco from Thursday 8 February to Sunday 11 February\, Baie de Monaco. \nSince 1985\, top European one-design sailors are to be found in Monaco at the beginning of February to compete in this first event on the Mediterranean circuit. \nWith 800 sailors from 15 nationalities taking part\, the event is unusual in that top European teams are competing on the same race area as enthusiastic amateurs.

A shot goes off\, the young man dies … and becomes\, like Joseph\, a ghost! \nDiscussions of these invisible observers evoke with delicacy\, and not without humor\, the fears\, racism\, prejudices and different faces that these evils take over time. An ode to tolerance\, fraternity and the overcoming of all the fears that “the other” can cause.
