SUMMARY:Exhibition "Espinasse 31" in Monaco
DESCRIPTION:“Espinasse 31” is a pop up exposition at the Miami Plage of Monte Carlo on May 12 – October 10. One year after its opening\, the Milanese residency for artists “Espinasse 31” managed to create a network of interconnections that brought its name and its artists to international recognition. \nAfter participating at Scope Miami and Art Basel\, the gallery lands in Monte Carlo\, in the Bay of Larvotto\, enhancing the amazing beauty of the Miami Plage with the artists’ works\, produced in the residency. \n@www.espinasse31.com\nFrom the 12th of May until the 10th of October a temporary exhibition will be set up. During the event\, the most representative artistic creations of Simone Monte\, who won in 2015 the National Geographic Photo Contest with the photograph “The Game”\, will be exhibited. Other artists showcased are Jenny Perez\, chosen by Giorgio Armani for the presentation in Miami of the Capsule collection st_art\, Rodrigo Branco\, Jotape\, Flavio Rossi\, KayOne\, Rolando Adrian Avila\, Carlos Cesar Alves\, Olga Lomaca\, Daniel Tumolillo and Alex Korolkovas\, winner of the Visual Press Award 2017. \n@www.espinasse31.com\nFor all comic fans\, during the exhibition there will be the works of Alex in plexiglass\, depicting the sensual Valentina\, created by Guido Crepax\, symbol of the contemporary femme fatale. For the first time\, there will be the presentation of the Italian duo Urban Solid\, with their original installations and sculptures in plaster and resin: “For us the third dimension\, with its tactile vocation\, symbolizes a complete visual experience. Sculpture is life in motion and allows the observer to interact with the work “. \nThrough photography\, painting and sculpture\, Espinasse 31 has built its cultural identity\, promoting art and stimulating critical thinking among its collectors. \nDuring the exhibition\, it will be possible to buy exclusive gadgets in the temporary pop up store.

DESCRIPTION:From 8 to 17 June 2018\, the Department of Cultural Affairs is organising the fourth Monaco Artists’ Forum at the Rainier III Auditorium. The Forum is an exhibition featuring artists who are Monegasque nationals or who have been resident in the Principality for more than five years. It will be open to the public\, free of charge\, every day between 2 pm and 7 pm. \nThe Forum is an exhibition of Monegasque art and sculpture and is a wonderful platform for visual artists who are Monegasque nationals or who have been a resident in the Principality for more than five years. Open to the public each day between 2 and 7 pm\, and a «Public Prize» will be announced at the culmination of the event. The artist who receives this award will be allowed to continue to display their work at the Rainier III Auditorium. The Monaco Artists’ Forum is part of the desire of the Prince’s Government to promote visual arts within the Principality\, to highlight the vitality of local artistic creation in the field of visual arts and as a matter of cultural policy\, to integrate and leverage the efforts of all Monegasque artists for the benefit of everyone.

At the initiative of the Department of the Interior\, the Prince’s Government wishes to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Monegasque sculptor\, who was honoured with the title of ‘First Sculptor of the King’. \nThe exhibition ‘François-Joseph Bosio\, Monegasque Sculptor’ will take place from the 14th of June until the 14th of October 2018\, in the Palais Princier and will include various archival documents on François-Joseph Bosio and works by the important artist. \nSource: en.monacochannel.mc

DESCRIPTION:36th Monte-Carlo International Swimming Meeting organised by the Monegasque Swimming Federation on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June\, Louis II Stadium Albert II Olympic Pool. \nIn 1992\, Canet 66 Natation formed the basics of a circuit by combining its meeting with that of Barcelona to create the “Mediterranean Grand Prix.” \nIn 1994\, a new step was taken:  the Principality of Monaco joined forces with Barcelona and Canet to found the “Mare Nostrum.”  The aim of this tripartite circuit was to bring together Europe’s three most renowned meetings to create the first international 50m in-pool circuit. \nThis circuit is unique in the world of swimming\, as confirmed today by the presence of a galaxy of international-level swimmers\, and is an outstanding technical opportunity for coaches\, with three very high-level meetings held over eight days.\nAll the countries of the world come to take part in the Mare Nostrum swimming event. \nInformation: +377 92 05 40 59

DESCRIPTION:Monaco will host the Riviera Water Bike Challenge (RWBC) on Sunday\, June  17\, 2018\, in support of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. The 21 kilometres between Nice and Monaco will be travelled on Schiller S1 water bikes. \nThe venue is the Yacht Club and a water-bike challenge\, racing 30 times between Yacht Club and the Musee Oceanographique for a total of 20 kilometres.
