DESCRIPTION:The Center of National Monuments welcomes you to the Villa Kérylos\, Beaulieu-sur-Mer\, France at the exhibition «En rêvant la Méditerranée» (“Dreaming of the Mediterranean”)\, by Antoine Pierini from May 8th to Septembre 18th\, 2022. \nThousands of years old\, the craft of glass has come to us from antiquity. Today\, innumerable objects in glass make up our everyday life\, while only a few of make it to the level which we would consider to be a work of art. Antoine Pierini\, designer\, glass artist\, and inheritor of a savoir-faire transmitted from father to son\, evokes a voyage across the sea and across time in an intimate epic that he has specifically created for the Villa Kérylos. \n©Ilan Dehe\nHis amphoras in colored glass\, whole or fragmented\, coinhabit at the heart of the Villa Kérylos with those of antiquity\, covered in a hoary concretion and who act as witnesses to the shipwrecks in a sea who has rested untamed all these millennia. \nIn this sensitive odyssey of glass and color\, Antoine Pierini hands over his emotions born from unique experiences and communal memories. Each work carries within itself the richness of history\, the strength of sensations\, and not only is each an invitation to voyage into the Mediterranean\, but also an invitation to dream of it.

DESCRIPTION:The Oceanographic Museum’s new Polar Mission exhibition is currently open and taking visitors on an epic journey from the North pole to the South pole. The new exhibition kicked off on 4 June and covers five exciting themes spread over two levels. From wildlife\, to explorers\, to artefacts\, to immersive technology\, the exhibition is chance to feel like you’re voyaging to the world’s chilliest landscapes at opposite ends of the globe. \nThe Polar Mission Exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum will be on display for the next two years. Entrance to the exhibition is included in a regular ticket to the Oceanographic Museum (€18.00 for adults and €18.00 for children aged 4-17 years). The Museum is open every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

DESCRIPTION:PhiloMonaco Week will take place from Tuesday 7 June to Sunday 12 June in various locations around the Principality. \nPhilosophy association “Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco” aims to foster a “community” in which the words and ideas of philosophers circulate freely among us all\, giving us insights – however modest – into issues that are becoming increasingly complex in our modern world. As part of this approach\, the association is holding PhiloMonaco Week from Tuesday 7 to Sunday 12 June 2022\, with numerous personalities invited to take part in conversations\, dialogues\, round tables\, and classes devoted to topics such as Ecology\, Education\, Care\, Women\, and Pleasure – including the Pleasure of Philosophising. \nPhiloMonaco Week will be attended by Charlotte Casiraghi\, Laura Hugo\, Robert Maggiori\, Raphael Zagury-Orly\, the members of the Jury – Isabelle Alfandary\, Paul Audi\, Étienne Bimbenet\, Catherine Chalier\, Marc Crépon\, Sandra Laugier\, Claire Marin\, Géraldine Muhlmann\, Judith Revel\, Camille Riquier\, and Patrick Savidan\, while many other personalities will take part in the events and debate with audiences\, including: Cynthia Fleury\, Fabrice Luchini\, Camille Froidevaux-Metterie\, Éric Marty\, Chantal Birman\, Serge Audier\, Divya Dwivedi\, Emanuele Coccia\, Karol Beffa\, Camille de Toledo\, Éric Fiat\, Edwige Chirouter\, Michaël Fœssel\, Frédéric Lenoir\, and Najat Vallaud-Belkacem. \nThe week will include two special highlights: \nPrize Ceremony – Thursday 9 June at 8 pm – Théâtre Princesse Grace \nPresided by Charlotte Casiraghi\, introduced by founding member Raphael Zagury-Orly and in the presence of Jury President Robert Maggiori and the members of the Jury\, the ceremony will include the presentation of the Prize for a publication\, the Honourable Mention for a publishing house\, and the High School Prize awarded to two students. \nThe ceremony is free and open to the public\, subject to available seats. \n“Le Mystère Nietzsche” – Saturday 11 June at 7 pm – Opéra de Monte-Carlo \nFabrice Luchini will be reading “Le Mystère Nietzsche”\, followed by a conversation with the philosopher Éric Fiat. \nTickets available from Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer: \nhttps://www.montecarlosbm.com/fr/spectacles-monaco/le-mystere-Nietzsche \nTHE EVENTS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO ALL (although advance reservation is necessary is some cases).
