From wildlife\, to explorers\, to artefacts\, to immersive technology\, the exhibition is chance to feel like you’re voyaging to the world’s chilliest landscapes at opposite ends of the globe. \nThe Polar Mission Exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum will be on display for the next two years. Entrance to the exhibition is included in a regular ticket to the Oceanographic Museum (€18.00 for adults and €18.00 for children aged 4-17 years). The Museum is open every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

SUMMARY:Exhibition "Newton\, Riviera" in Villa Sauber
DESCRIPTION:“Newton\, Riviera”\, an exhibition from Friday 17 June to Wednesday 13 November 2022\, in Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Sauber. \nThe title of the exhibition clearly circumscribes a geography\, that of the French Riviera to Bordighera\, Italy\, which Helmut Newton photographed from the 1960s until his death in the early 2000s. Newton\, Riviera is a pretext for a new look at the work of one of the 20th century’s foremost photographers through a fascinating collection of images\, some that have become famous\, others rarely displayed to the public. \n \nIt was here too\, that he produced a great many portraits of “beautiful people”\, some of whom had taken up residence in Monaco\, others merely passing through. His works from this period also include portraits of the stars of the Ballet de Monte-Carlo and the Princely Family. In Monaco\, Newton finally did landscapes\, a genre of photography that he had never previously explored. There\, he also developed “Yellow Press”\, one of his most personal series\, full of strange\, disquietingly glamorous images inspired by crime scenes. \nWhile Newton\, Riviera focuses heavily on this period\, the exhibition also looks at Newton’s historic links with the Riviera. Through 280 photographs\, we discover a dazzling Newton’s ironic yet fascinated interpretation of a way of life characterised by ease and elegance\, a world dominated by appearance and superficiality. A veritable living theatre\, in which he was both a player on the stage\, and a privileged member of the audience.

SUMMARY:Exhibition "Gardens of Monaco"
DESCRIPTION:The Federation of French Groups of Monaco presents the exhibition “Gardens of Monaco”\, which will be held from 7 October to 5 November at the Maison de France in Monaco. The exposition is organized under the patronage of Prince Albert II. \nWatercolor artist Tony Jabot focused on all the great gardens of Monaco\, the Exotic Garden\, the Rose Garden\, the Japanese Garden\, as well as gardens of the Casino and the hanging gardens of the Rock\, to capture their abundance\, the light and colors. \nThe poet Gilles Montelatici\, in his turn\, sought to convey the atmosphere of these gardens in short poems\, in the manner of Japanese haiku\, the atmosphere of these gardens\, the instantaneous impressions which emerge from them. \nThis project is also an opportunity to visit history through the evocation of the gardens of yesteryear in Monaco\, with its streets named after flowers or plants. \nFree admission.

DESCRIPTION:This event is one of those that everyone is impatiently awaiting at the end of October and with the approach of the All Saints holidays! \nThis year\, the Attractions Fair will gather residence and guests in the Port of Monaco from Friday October 21 at 2 p.m. to Saturday November 19\, 2022 at midnight. From October 21 at 2 p.m.\, the Attraction Fair will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.\, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays as well as the eves of public holidays. On November 18\, on the eve of the National Day\, the attractions will exceptionally remain open until 1 a.m. \nArranged over the entire upper part of the Quai Albert Ier as well as on the Darse Sud\, entertainment stands\, gourmet stands and attractions will delight the public\, who will find thrill rides and other\, more traditional\, for the little ones. \nAmong the rides that will take place for four weeks on the Quai Albert Ier\, we can mention: the Space Combat\, the Astrojet simulator\, the Palais du Rire and even the bumper cars! \nAs a reminder\, the public safety system established for several years has been renewed. Thus\, bags will be checked at the eight access points to the Fair (6 on the Quai Albert Ier and 2 on the Darse Sud) and carpets will count the number of visitors. Once the number is reached\, access to the fair will be temporarily suspended. The number of visitors will be visible in real time on the Monaco Town Hall website www.mairie.mc and it is strongly recommended that visitors check it before going to the Port of Monaco. \nThis year again\, the Attractions Fair should satisfy all ages and all tastes! \nOpen from Sunday to Thursday:\n– food stands and children’s rides: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.\n– attractions: 2 p.m. – 11 p.m. \nFridays\, Saturdays and eves of public holidays\, closing at midnight.\nFriday November 18\, 2022: closing at 1 a.m.

DESCRIPTION:One of the greatest events on the world stage of the game of Kings (and Queens\, in this case) is going to take place at the Hotel l’Hermitage\, in Monaco\, from October 24 to November 6 next. Indeed\, this is the tournament of candidates for the world title. The winner of this knockout tournament will win the right to face the defending champion\, the Chinese Ju Wenjun. Monaco will have the honor of welcoming four players from the world’s top 10\, namely the Ukrainian sisters Muzychuk\, Anna and Maria\, the Indian Humpy Koneru and the Chinese Lei Tingjie. \nThe opening ceremony of this tournament is on October 24\, 2022 at the Gustave salon at the Hôtel l’Hermitage\, which will take place in two stages: first\, at 5 p.m. there will be a privileged face-to-face meeting with the players who have kindly accepted to submit to the game of questions / answers from the journalists. This media reception will be followed at 6 p.m. by the opening ceremony in which many local political officials and the chess world will take part.

DESCRIPTION:6th Monte-Carlo E-Rally / 22nd Monte-Carlo ZENN Rally / Zero Emissions No Noise – Since being renamed in 2016\, following on from the Monte-Carlo Electric Vehicle Rally (1995 to 1999)\, the Monte-Carlo Fuel Cell & Hybrids Rally (2005\, 2006)\, the Monte-Carlo Alternative Energy Vehicles Rally (2007 to 2011)\, and the Monte-Carlo New Energies Rally / Monte-Carlo ZENN Rally (2012 to 2015)\, this 6th edition of the Monte-Carlo E-Rally is an official stage of the 2022 FIA ecoRally Cup from Wednesday 26 to Sunday 30 October 2022\, Valencia (26) and the Principality of Monaco. \nThis 2022 edition of the 100% electric & hydrogen version of Rally Monte-Carlo makes another step forward by adopting a new philosophy with regards to power charging points. So that a strong recommendation of the Organizing Committee is validated: nightly charging parks are replaced by daily mobile charging points. \nThe « Great Start » will be given this year from Valence\, the emblematic city in the Drôme department and long-time partner of Automobile Club de Monaco over the past few years. The meeting point is set for Wednesday October 26 at 2 pm on the Champ de Mars Esplanade. \nDestination Ardèche for the 2nd leg and heading for Privas\, the prefecture of the department\, on Thursday October 27.  \nThe next day\, Friday October 28\, the 3rd leg will be 500-km long heading South to  Monte-Carlo and will probably be a memorable one with four regularity stages on the menu. \nThe 4th and last leg\, on Saturday October 29\, will have a definite WRC tone\, with a series of former traditional stages of Rally Monte-Carlo\, in the departments of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Alpes-Maritimes\, including famous passes such as Col de Bleine as a conclusion.

Designed by German Frers\, the Smeralda 888\, at 8.88m in length with a crew of four\, is quick\, lively\, pleasant to helm and a joy to watch being both elegant and competitive. \nThe boat handles well in a strong breeze and is nimble in very light winds. Tradition dictates that the Smeralda 888 International Championship ends with the final regatta being hosted by Monaco\, this year it is on October 28-30.
