SUMMARY:The “Polar Mission” exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
DESCRIPTION:The Oceanographic Museum’s new Polar Mission exhibition is currently open and taking visitors on an epic journey from the North pole to the South pole. The new exhibition kicked off on 4 June and covers five exciting themes spread over two levels. From wildlife\, to explorers\, to artefacts\, to immersive technology\, the exhibition is chance to feel like you’re voyaging to the world’s chilliest landscapes at opposite ends of the globe. \nThe Polar Mission Exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum will be on display for the next two years. Entrance to the exhibition is included in a regular ticket to the Oceanographic Museum (€18.00 for adults and €18.00 for children aged 4-17 years). The Museum is open every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

SUMMARY:Exhibition of Pastels by Jean Malaurie in Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
DESCRIPTION:The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco is hosting “Arctic Twilight”\, an exhibition of pastel paintings by Jean Malaurie\, from 15 December 2022 to 24 January 2023. \nThis unique exhibition brings together many of Jean Malaurie’s pastel paintings\, including some of his most recent works inspired by his missions in the Arctic. These paintings highlight the beauty and power of the natural elements in the Northern regions. \nThis exhibition by the French researcher and explorer is part of the program of the Oceanographic Institute dedicated to the polar regions. \nAt the end of 2021\, Jean Malaurie donated to the Oceanographic Institute his collection of Inuit objects\, his archives and personal effects from his 31 polar expeditions. Visitors can discover part of this\ncollection presented as part of the “Polar Mission” exhibition.

SUMMARY:Ali Kazma Exhibition in Nouveau Musée National de Monaco
DESCRIPTION:In this first edition of Winter Video Days\, the NMNM presents Turkish artist Ali Kazma\, whose practice centres on the media of photography and video. His works raise fundamental questions about the meaning of human activities. Whether in the fields of economics\, industry\, science\, medicine\, society or art\, each of his videos questions the developments that take place in our societies\, and together gradually represent a vast archive of the human condition. Kazma shoots and edits all his videos himself. \nThe exhibition comprises three videos: \nTop Fuel (2020). This fifteen-minute video focuses on Anita Mäkelä\, a Finnish drag-racer. \nA House of Ink (2022) and Sentimental (2022). How is it possible to communicate the nature of the least cinematic activity of all – writing? This is the question Ali Kazma was faced with when he accepted the proposal made by his compatriot Orhan Pamuk\, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature\, to film him at home in his large\, empty and light-filled flat in the Cihangir district of Istanbul.

SUMMARY:Exhibition “Les Carabiniers du Prince”
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition “Les Carabiniers du Prince” opened in Monaco at the Monte-Carlo station till February 16\, 2023. Twelve photographs dating from 1890 to 2022 are presented\, in chronological order. \nThe history of the Prince’s Carabinieri Corps is closely linked to that of Monaco and the Princely Family. This prestigious military unit\, 124 Carabinieri strong\, provides daily guarding of the Prince’s Palace\, the safety of the Sovereign Family\, its property and dependencies. Missions dedicated to honorary services are also an integral part of the rhythm of their activities. Its motto\, “Honor\, Loyalty and Dedication”\, gives meaning to the daily commitment of the Carabinieri.

Will she succeed? \nEvolving in a setting inspired by pop-up books\, an actress alone on stage interprets all the characters from the famous Russian tale\, “Vassilisa the Very Beautiful”. In a musical atmosphere reminiscent of Russia\, Vassilissa and her doll will live an adventure full of surprises and twists.

Organised with the support of FxPro\, clothing supplier SLAM\, this original match race format in teams of four Optimists relies on technique\, tactics and above all team-work. As well as the sporting aspect\, with an average 120 races over four days\, youngsters from our twin and reciprocal clubs all over the world come to meet others passionate about sailing and have fun.

Transfigured by love and anger\, she digs a tunnel through the earth’s crust to reach the Underworld. \nWith violence\, humor and gentleness\, the spectator is transported from one universe to another and descends\, alongside Eurydice\, to the depths of the earth.
