DESCRIPTION:The Oceanographic Museum’s new Polar Mission exhibition is currently open and taking visitors on an epic journey from the North pole to the South pole. The new exhibition kicked off on 4 June and covers five exciting themes spread over two levels. From wildlife\, to explorers\, to artefacts\, to immersive technology\, the exhibition is chance to feel like you’re voyaging to the world’s chilliest landscapes at opposite ends of the globe. \nThe Polar Mission Exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum will be on display for the next two years. Entrance to the exhibition is included in a regular ticket to the Oceanographic Museum (€18.00 for adults and €18.00 for children aged 4-17 years). The Museum is open every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Drowning\, which kills around 236\,000 people every year worldwide\, is a major public health problem on a global scale and a priority in the actions of the Foundation. The main mission remains the same: to save lives by helping to reduce drowning rates.

SUMMARY:Exhibition "Pablo Picasso and Antiquity"
DESCRIPTION:After the “The Prince at home” exhibition a new temporary exhibition “Pablo Picasso and Antiquity” will take place at the Palais Princier de Monaco\, from September 16 to October 15. \nOrganized in the Palais Princier de Monaco\, alongside the recently restored 16th-century frescoes\, the exhibition focuses on a selection from the collection of the Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso (FABA)\, as well as a painting from the Nahmad Collection. “Pablo Picasso et l’Antiquité” provides a stage for Picasso’s thoughts on the survival\, legibility and malleability of ancient artifacts\, beyond the jolts of history and the degradation of objects. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition explores themes of ruin and decline as well as of endurance and renewal in relation to Picasso’s distinctive takes on Classicism in a variety of mediums from the post-WWI period to the 1950s. In so doing\, it illuminates the radical ways in which the artist reimagined the heritage of the Greco-Roman world through subjects\, style\, and materials as he contradicted the dogmatism and idealism of the academic tradition. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition is part of the international collaboration Picasso Celebration 1973-2023 on occasion of the 50th anniversary of Pablo Picasso’s death.

DESCRIPTION:After the success of the first two editions\, the Monte-Carlo Star Chef Culinary Festival (“Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo”) returns in 2023! \nThis year’s program will begin in September\, with new and original joint activities!
