DESCRIPTION:The Oceanographic Museum’s new Polar Mission exhibition is currently open and taking visitors on an epic journey from the North pole to the South pole. The new exhibition kicked off on 4 June and covers five exciting themes spread over two levels. From wildlife\, to explorers\, to artefacts\, to immersive technology\, the exhibition is chance to feel like you’re voyaging to the world’s chilliest landscapes at opposite ends of the globe. \nThe Polar Mission Exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum will be on display for the next two years. Entrance to the exhibition is included in a regular ticket to the Oceanographic Museum (€18.00 for adults and €18.00 for children aged 4-17 years). The Museum is open every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

A site-specific wall painting that will wrap the entire gallery space and an adaptation of ‘He would see this country burn if he could be king of the ashes’ (2019) will complete an immersive experience that draws the viewer into Bradford’s ongoing engagement with the themes of predation\, destruction and the hope of rejuvenation for those in crisis. \nImmersed in his work\, we totally understand the message\, leaving the gallery stunned and trembling. SUMMARY:Exhibition of Pier Paolo Calzolari: "Casa ideale" (Ideal Home)
DESCRIPTION:A new exhibition opened in Villa Paloma: Pier Paolo Calzolari “Casa ideale” (Ideal Home) from 17 November 2023 to 7 April 2024. \nPier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of his multi-faceted practice (painting and sculpture\, but also performances he looks on as “acts of passion”) that challenge the limits of contemporary art. \nThe exhibition at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco brings together works he produced between the late 1960s and 2014. Titled Casa ideale (Ideal Home) after a “text-manifesto” written in 1968\, and spread across Villa Paloma’s three floors\, the exhibition plays on the codes of interiors\, that is to say the codes of the personal that echo the existentialism of the artist’s production. The exhibition shows that\, since 1972\, the Italian artist has tackled the most important questions raised by contemporary painting. A retrospective exhibition\, Casa ideale is a rare opportunity to discover the world of Pier Paolo Calzolari\, an artist who has made his mark on art history through his customarily unconventional approach to the various practices in the visual arts.
