A selection of archives and objects will take you back in time\, to the very earliest days of colour television. Organised by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco\, the exhibition features items entrusted by Télé Monte-Carlo for safekeeping\, documents from partner institutions\, and materials kindly loaned by private individuals.

Julian Lennon\, with his series of portraits of H.S.H. SUMMARY:Navicap Challenge - Trophée Elena Sivoldaeva
DESCRIPTION:From 29th November to 1st December 2024\, around 60 participants\, including experienced sailors and aficionados\, able-boded and with a disability\, will be meeting in Monaco Bay for the 2nd Navicap Challenge – Trophée Elena Sivoldaeva. Organised by Yacht Club de Monaco\, this event takes place ahead of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebrated every year on 3rd December. This initiative is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that also aim to guarantee the rights of people with disabilities. \n30-plus international teams\nTeams from England\, France and Monaco will be out on the water for this second edition. Ahead of them lies three days of racing on Hansa 303 boats\, specially designed to be accessible to everyone. YCM has been able to purchase two thanks to the generosity of donor member Elena Sivoldaeva. Crews of two\, able-bodied or disabled sailors\, can sail together on them. \nKeeping up the pace\nContestants will be competing on a triangular windward-leeward course depending on the race format in two stages\, qualifiers followed by the finals. A qualifying phase\, the Round Robin\, is validated once all groups have competed once. At the end of this stage\, teams with the fewest points will go through into the Gold category. In the event of a tie\, the ranking of the last race will be the decider between teams. The other teams will be divided into the Silver\, Bronze and Vermeil categories following the same rule. \nSharing and accessibility\nThe main objective is to share the joys of sailing in a spirit of helping each other and solidarity. Accessibility through learning is also key with specially trained professionals on hand to supervise sailors with disabilities\, so everyone gets to discover sailing in optimal conditions in an inclusive and caring environment. \nIt all kicks off with the first race on Friday 29th November at 2.00pm. A wonderful opportunity to share a sport together while respecting diversity.

DESCRIPTION:The Telethon events will take place in two stages this year in Monaco. The first phase will begin this Saturday November 30\, the second will be held in January. \nThe end of the year is approaching\, and as at every time since 1987\, it is time to share your generosity to help the Telethon fight against rare\, progressive and seriously disabling genetic diseases\, and to support patients and their families. In the Principality this year\, the Telethon events – organized by the association “Monaco maladies scientifiques” – will take place in two stages. \nThe first period begins like in France this weekend\, with a plethora of activities on offer this Saturday\, November 30. \nFrom 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Promenade Honoré-II\, Santa Claus will be waiting for young and old for a nice souvenir photo at the community center. At the same time\, there will be a sale of objects\, cuddly toys\, Christmas decorations and drinks\, still on the Promenade. Same place and almost the same time: a motorcycle baptism will be offered from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. \nFinally\, don’t miss the Téléthon “flash mob” zumba at 3 p.m.\, open to all. To donate\, collection points and a sale of all kinds of objects will be set up at the Condamine market and in the Fontvieille shopping center. The proceeds collected by the “Monaco maladies scientifiques” association will then be donated to the AFM-Téléthon. \nThe second phase of the Telethon in the Principality will take place from January 18 to 19\, 2025\, with the establishment of a Telethon village at the Espace Léo-Ferré.
