DESCRIPTION:Exhibition: “Agora\, the Place of the Museum” will take place from Friday 24 January to Sunday 4 May 2025 at Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Sauber. \nBack in 2015\, the NMNM debited its first ever LAB giving visitors a glimpse “behind the scenes of the museum”. Then in 2018\, five guest artists were invited to produce their own musings on the very meaning of the museum itself. In 2025\, as the Villa Sauber prepares to undergo a radical transformation\, the NMNM is giving pride of place to its public-facing programmes\, where the focus is on artists and promoting a wider sharing of art appreciation.

DESCRIPTION:Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo (Spring Arts Festival) is held this year from Sunday 2 March to Sunday 27 April 2025\, in the Principality of Monaco. \nThe Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo 2025 Festival will celebrate the centenary of Pierre Boulez\, a leading figure in the world of contemporary music\, who pioneering work and worldwide influence will be explored through a series of concerts\, screenings\, and performances. The Festival will also showcase the artistic connections between Boulez and painter Francis Bacon. Six of Bacon’s paintings\, created around the time the two men met in Paris\, illustrate the themes of human fragility and time and reflect on the ways in which music and painting each inspire the other. The dialogue between two of the 20th century’s great cultural geniuses is a unique immersion in their artistic world.

DESCRIPTION:Bernard Alligand Exhibition “Iceland Telluric Garden” is held from March 24\, 2025 till June 30\, 2025 in Louis Notari Library. \nA land of ice and fire\, Iceland has always held a certain attraction for writers\, whether it was Jules Verne who drew inspiration from it for his Journey to the Center of the Earth or Pierre Loti who set the scene for The Fisherman of Iceland. Painters from the continent\, for their part\, were far fewer in number to visit Iceland. Yet! What place could be wilder\, more deserted\, closer to its origins than Iceland? \nBernard Alligand\, after exploring many other lands\, whether Asian (Cambodia\, Laos\, Vietnam) or Mediterranean (Egypt and Morocco\, where he stayed several times for artist residencies)\, discovered Iceland about fifteen years ago\, an island state in the North Atlantic\, located between Greenland and Norway\, on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge separating the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates\, a land of volcanoes\, geysers\, fjords\, and glaciers. Half explorer\, half geologist\, with a passion for highly contrasting landscapes\, raw materials\, and unusual light\, the artist was immediately captivated. \nFree admission

DESCRIPTION:The 13th edition of the Sainte-Dévote Tournament will take place on April 25 and 26\, 2025\, at the Stade Louis II. \nThis international competition\, organized by the Monegasque Rugby Federation in partnership with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation\, will bring together 24 U12 teams from around the world. For the first time\, New Zealand\, Canada\, Zimbabwe\, and Scotland will be represented. \nOver the years\, the Sainte-Dévote Tournament has established itself as the benchmark rugby sevens event for players under 12. The choice of January 27 for the tournament’s announcement date is not insignificant. It is indeed today that Monaco celebrates Saint Devota\, the patron saint of the Principality\, which the country shares with Corsica.
