DESCRIPTION:Bernard Alligand Exhibition “Iceland Telluric Garden” is held from March 24\, 2025 till June 30\, 2025 in Louis Notari Library. \nA land of ice and fire\, Iceland has always held a certain attraction for writers\, whether it was Jules Verne who drew inspiration from it for his Journey to the Center of the Earth or Pierre Loti who set the scene for The Fisherman of Iceland. Painters from the continent\, for their part\, were far fewer in number to visit Iceland. Yet! What place could be wilder\, more deserted\, closer to its origins than Iceland? \nBernard Alligand\, after exploring many other lands\, whether Asian (Cambodia\, Laos\, Vietnam) or Mediterranean (Egypt and Morocco\, where he stayed several times for artist residencies)\, discovered Iceland about fifteen years ago\, an island state in the North Atlantic\, located between Greenland and Norway\, on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge separating the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates\, a land of volcanoes\, geysers\, fjords\, and glaciers. Half explorer\, half geologist\, with a passion for highly contrasting landscapes\, raw materials\, and unusual light\, the artist was immediately captivated. \nFree admission

DESCRIPTION:Exhibitions « L’art en trois actes »  is organized in Espace 22. \nAct VI\, VII and VIII exhibitions will take place from April 28 to May 28\, showcasing “a selection of emerging and established artists from France\, Belgium\, Germany\, Switzerland\, Monaco\, Ukraine and Saint-Martin\, each with a unique universe.” In total\, there will be around twenty talents presenting their work over the weeks so that the public can experience “art in three acts.” \nThe three openings are scheduled for April 30\, May 12\, and May 19\, with the artists in attendance\, to “celebrate art in a convivial\, elegant\, and resolutely lively atmosphere.” These three events are the last in a cycle\, as the organizers specify. “After this trilogy\, Act is reinventing itself and will evolve into new formats\, in France\, abroad\, and probably again in Monaco – in new locations\, with new scenographies and a renewed artistic narrative.”

DESCRIPTION:An Immersive exhibition “There Was a First Time” is organised in April at Louis II Stadium to celebrate its 40th anniversary. \nThe exhibition will be staged along the pedestrian walkway inside the stadium\, newly renovated for the occasion\, and will be open to the public for several months. It will highlight landmark firsts at the stadium: the first football match\, the first world record\, the first archery competition\, the first concert\, the first boxing gala and many others. \nThanks to archives\, photographs and posters contributed by various organisations and bodies\, visitors will have the opportunity to relive these historic occasions and gain a sense of the impact that the Louis II Stadium has had on sport and culture in Monaco.
