DESCRIPTION:An Immersive exhibition “There Was a First Time” is organised in April at Louis II Stadium to celebrate its 40th anniversary. \nThe exhibition will be staged along the pedestrian walkway inside the stadium\, newly renovated for the occasion\, and will be open to the public for several months. It will highlight landmark firsts at the stadium: the first football match\, the first world record\, the first archery competition\, the first concert\, the first boxing gala and many others. \nThanks to archives\, photographs and posters contributed by various organisations and bodies\, visitors will have the opportunity to relive these historic occasions and gain a sense of the impact that the Louis II Stadium has had on sport and culture in Monaco.

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Monaco’s architectural heritage
DESCRIPTION:Organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs with support from SOGEDA Monaco\, this exhibition is a follow up of a photography competition of young people aged 11 to 25\, on the theme of “Monaco’s architectural heritage”. \nThe idea is to get young people involved in protecting Monaco’s heritage and showcase the creativity of the Principality’s young people\, and the project is part of the European Heritage Days 2025 programme\, running under the theme of architecture. \nAn expert panel of judges selected 15 photographs\, paying particular attention to the artistic aspect of the young competitors’ work\, as well as to their unique perspective on the architectural heritage of their city. \nA youth panel made up of students from Monaco chose four winning entries from these 15 photographs. These are on display from 6 June to 5 October 2025 on the Railings in the St Martin Gardens. \nThe exhibition will then travel to Strasbourg in 2026\, during Monaco’s Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

DESCRIPTION:From July 5 to September 14\, 2025\, the State Apartments of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco will host the exhibition “Grace” #1\, a sensitive and unique invitation to rediscover the luminous and multifaceted personality of Princess Grace\, born Grace Patricia Kelly. \nConceived under the shared vision of Natalia Mlodzikowska\, Exhibitions Manager at the Collections Department of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco and General Curator\, and guest artistic curator Marie-Eve Mestre\, this exhibition offers an intimate approach\, far from clichés and rigid representations\, to reveal the woman behind the icon: her nuances\, her emotions\, her quiet strength. \nSpread over 90 m² in three rooms of the Palace\, “Grace” #1 draws primarily from the collections and archives of the Prince’s Palace. Photographs\, personal objects\, jewelry\, and accessories poignantly tell the story of the woman behind the icon: a sensitive\, brilliant\, courageous\, and free figure. \nThe immersive scenography\, designed like a cozy setting\, recreates an intimate and poetic universe. A velvet curtain\, subdued lighting\, a carpet to soften the footsteps… all combine to make this exhibition a precious interlude. Never-before-seen portraits in various formats are displayed alongside objects dear to the Princess: glasses\, gloves\, hats\, and of course\, the famous Hermès Kelly bag. A floral tapestry inspired by her passion for nature\, accompanied by a rose fragrance and a soundscape of birdsong\, completes this atmosphere imbued with softness and elegance. \nThe exhibition is structured around four themes reflecting Grace’s many facets: the natural young woman\, immortalized on the beaches of Jamaica; the everyday woman\, elegant and discreet; the loving and attentive mother; and finally\, the amateur photographer and filmmaker\, keen to preserve the memories and precious moments of her family life. \nFar from a chronological or exhaustive retrospective\, “Grace” #1 is a sensitive and artistic exploration of a timeless figure\, allowing visitors to gain insight into the Princess’s innermost being while discovering the world through her own eyes. \nAffiche Grace #1\nOpening Hours:\nFrom July 5th to August 31st: 10am – 6pm\nFrom September 1st to 14th: 10am – 5pm

This prestigious event\, heir to the legendary motorboat meetings of 1904\, reflects the Yacht Club de Monaco’s deep commitment to nautical history. It is distinguished by its exclusive character\, bringing together a remarkable fleet of the finest classic sailing yachts\, vintage motor yachts\, vintage motorboats and\, for the last few editions\, elegant 12′ Dinghies. \nAt sea\n\n\n\nA REGATTA\n\n\nRaces for classic sailing boats\, dead reckoning for motor yachts\, endurance and manoeuvrability tests for motorboats\, all these contests bring back to life the atmosphere and spirit of nautical competitions in the early 20th century\, when speed and innovation were at the heart of maritime gatherings.\n\n\nOn land\n\n\n\nELEGANCE CONTEST\n\n\nThis competition assesses etiquette\, style\, and respect for good manners and solidarity at sea\, in a festive\, friendly and always fun spirit.\n\n\nCHEFS COMPETITION\n\n\nOrganised in collaboration with Moët Hennessy and supervised by Simon Ganache (YCM Events Chef)\, this culinary competition invites crews to showcase their creativity by producing dishes on board their boat from a basket of organic ingredients.The results are judged on the quay by a panel of renowned chefs\, including Philippe Joannès and Christian Garcia\, giving participants and spectators alike an extra special gastronomic experience.\n\n\nBOUTIQUE & VILLAGE\n\n\nA bespoke nautical\, cultural and social programme has been put together for owners and crews as well as the general public who are free to stroll along the quays to see what the Village of exhibitors has in store. They include painters\, photographers\, marine craftsmen\, boatyards\, sculptors and YCM’s Boutique.\n\n\nTROPHY\n\n\nAs well as the races and motorboat events\, the Monaco Classic Week Trophy\, judged by a Jury presided by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston\, is awarded to the boat that combines the best score in the coveted La Belle Classe Prize and the Elegance Contest.\n\n\nParticipants\n\n\n\nSAILING YACHTS\n\n\nAll the yachts of yesteryear still sailing continue to fascinate as reminders of a rich cultural heritage from a distant past\, and the public enjoy watching them racing together.
