SUMMARY:Exhibition: Monaco’s architectural heritage
DESCRIPTION:Organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs with support from SOGEDA Monaco\, this exhibition is a follow up of a photography competition of young people aged 11 to 25\, on the theme of “Monaco’s architectural heritage”. \nThe idea is to get young people involved in protecting Monaco’s heritage and showcase the creativity of the Principality’s young people\, and the project is part of the European Heritage Days 2025 programme\, running under the theme of architecture. \nAn expert panel of judges selected 15 photographs\, paying particular attention to the artistic aspect of the young competitors’ work\, as well as to their unique perspective on the architectural heritage of their city. \nA youth panel made up of students from Monaco chose four winning entries from these 15 photographs. These are on display from 6 June to 5 October 2025 on the Railings in the St Martin Gardens. \nThe exhibition will then travel to Strasbourg in 2026\, during Monaco’s Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

SUMMARY:The AIAP Exhibition: 'MONACO\, IN THE SHADOW OF THE WIND'
DESCRIPTION:The AIAP Exhibition will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Monegasque National Committee of the International Association of Plastic Arts (AIAP) at UNESCO from September 25th till October 12th in Salle d’Exposition du Quai Antoine I. \nThe opening reception will be held on Wednesday\, September 24th at 6:00 p.m. \n‘MONACO\, IN THE SHADOW OF THE WIND’\nDaily\, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Free Admission \nFor this new edition\, the artists were invited to reflect on what the Principality evokes in us\, guided by an allegory of the wind\, a constant element of our Mediterranean lands\, whose title plays on its meaning and rhythm. ‘Monaco\, in the Shadow of the Wind’ humbly recalls what the rock has always brought to the shores of this small\, unspoiled port: a peaceful and quality life. \nThis year\, 2025\, also marks the 70th anniversary of the Monegasque National Committee\, one of the first committees to be created under the auspices of UNESCO. This anniversary allows us to reveal some historical pieces from the founding artists\, thanks to loans from collectors\, accompanied by archival documents that mark the beginnings of our Association. \nWith the artists:\nAlaleh Alamir\, Mireille Amar\, Franck Attar\, Caroline Bergonzi\, Valérie Bernard\, Pascale Berthaud\, Angelina Bloomberg\, Isabella Boisson\, Ivana Boris\, Carol Bruton\, Paolo Canciani\, Cristo Calam\, Bianca Caloi di Grassi\, Chantal Cavenel\, Gianni De Paoli\, DOVA\, Berenice Fay\, Monique Gastaud\, Jean-François Gaulthier\, Christian Giordan\, Ludzia Guillerin\, Laurent Lassource\, Nathalie Léger\, Carmen Lindahl\, Viviane Marchioni\, Maryna Maryienko\, Joelle Meissner\, Martine Micallef\, Céline Mindus\, NIKA\, Martine Nizio\, Michel Nizio\, Alexandra Otieva\, Ania Pabis Guillaume\, Elena Papernaya\, Laurent Papillon\, Paolo Parenti\, Patricia Sawicki\, Bolonie Shuhaibar\, Bastien Soleil\, Ornella Spiga\, Liudmila Sun\, Marcela Svaton\, Marie-Aimée Tirole\, Ana Tzarev\, Sven Vandenbosch\, Egor Zigura\, Nikita Zigura. \nCurators:\nStefania Angelini and Laurent Papillon \nThanks to the support of the Prince’s Government\, the Directorate of Cultural Affairs\, SOGEDA\, and private partners Zanaboni (Italy) and Monaco Properties (Monaco).
