SUMMARY:Exhibition: Monaco’s architectural heritage
DESCRIPTION:Organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs with support from SOGEDA Monaco\, this exhibition is a follow up of a photography competition of young people aged 11 to 25\, on the theme of “Monaco’s architectural heritage”. \nThe idea is to get young people involved in protecting Monaco’s heritage and showcase the creativity of the Principality’s young people\, and the project is part of the European Heritage Days 2025 programme\, running under the theme of architecture. \nAn expert panel of judges selected 15 photographs\, paying particular attention to the artistic aspect of the young competitors’ work\, as well as to their unique perspective on the architectural heritage of their city. \nA youth panel made up of students from Monaco chose four winning entries from these 15 photographs. These are on display from 6 June to 5 October 2025 on the Railings in the St Martin Gardens. \nThe exhibition will then travel to Strasbourg in 2026\, during Monaco’s Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

They held prestigious receptions and parties there\, inviting celebrities from the French Riviera. \nIn 1982\, the villa was bequeathed to the City of Antibes-Juan-les-Pins\, on the condition that the property be used as a venue for exhibitions and receptions\, and that the public be allowed access to the gardens. \nInformation: \nDeparture from Monaco: from the Stade Louis II bus stop at 1 pm \nReturn to Monaco: at 5 pm \nA bus will be provided for those departing from Monaco. DESCRIPTION:20th Monaco International Organ Festival will be held on from 4 to 18 October 2025 at 8.30 pm \nThe Monaco International Organ Festival invites you to four concerts featuring diverse programs that showcase the rich instrumental heritage of the Principality\, taking place at the Cathedral\, the Church of the Sacred Heart\, and Saint Charles Church. \nThe opening concert at the Cathedral is part of the celebrations for the Three Jubilee Years of Saint Thomas Aquinas: his birth (1225)\, his death (1274)\, and his canonization (1323). For this occasion\, his relics will be brought to the Principality\, and the organ will feature some of the masterpieces of Johann Sebastian Bach\, thus celebrating the connection between these two remarkable figures—a composer and a philosopher. \nNext\, we will welcome Cameron Carpenter. This brilliant and unconventional organist never fails to captivate his audience. As a performer\, composer\, and arranger\, he has revolutionized the way we perceive the organ today\, and each of his concerts is an unforgettable experience for listeners. \nAt Sacré-Cœur\, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Gunnar Idenstam and Lisa Rydberg back to the Festival for the second time. Their program for organ and violin will take us on another journey through the music of Bach\, often reimagined with influences from folk music. Imagine\, if you will\, hypothetical German organists of that era\, who came to work in the Swedish countryside\, bringing with them a Bach piece that they would share with local folk musicians… \nFinally\, the closing concert will feature the Pêr-Vari Kervarec Trio\, which is much more than just a musical ensemble: it embodies a living tradition\, a bridge between history and the present\, between the ancient stones of French churches and cathedrals and the souls of those who come to listen. Pêr-Vari Kervarec performed on the steps of the Sainte-Dévote Church during the Prince’s wedding procession in 2011. The ensemble aims to evoke the spirit of the ancient Breton Grimaldi sites.
