Quiet temples\, contemplative landscapes\, vibrant cities and contemporary aesthetics unfold in a richly immersive artistic experience. \nAbout the artists – Franck Solimeis and Carole Micallef\nA self-taught photographer born in Monaco\, Franck Solimeis has cultivated a distinctive visual language inspired by his travels. From Greenland and Namibia to the Atacama Desert and Madagascar\, his journeys across the globe reflect an enduring pursuit of authenticity and emotion. Yet it is in Japan that he discovered a deeply personal connection. \nThrough his lens\, he captures the quiet stillness of temples\, the precision of time-honoured gestures and the vibrant energy of sprawling metropolises. His work reveals a multifaceted Japan – at once ancient and ultra-modern\, contemplative and electric. More than a travelogue\, his photographs become fragments of memory: suspended moments that invite reflection on our own relationship with time\, balance and harmony. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“I’m not sure whether photography led me to travel\, or whether my love of travel inspired me to capture these unique moments\,” he explains. “Japan has become a country close to my heart. I feel a deep sense of harmony there\, both with my energy and my spirituality. Her artistic universe has been shaped by material\, gesture and transformation. \nShe has a particular affinity for vintage and found objects\, which she reimagines and gives a second life through painting and engraving\, creating singular works infused with history and meaning. In 2024\, she began a new chapter by embracing digital tools and exploring the meeting point between traditional artistry and contemporary technology\, while maintaining a fully hands- on creative process without the use of artificial intelligence. \nThis evolution gave rise to her collection Women of the World\, celebrating identity\, culture and inner feminine strength. Her work Tokyo Planet\, recipient of the 2024 Audience Prize at the Monaco Artists Forum\, exemplifies this fusion of artistic heritage and technological modernity. SUMMARY:15th Monaco Historic Grand Prix 2026
DESCRIPTION:On April 24-26\, 2026\, Monaco will host the 15th edition of the Monaco Historic Grand Prix. A unique event where legendary racing cars return to the iconic streets of the Principality. Experience the passion\, elegance\, and performance that celebrate over a century of motorsport heritage. \nFormula 1 Grand Prix cars with turbo engines will be able to take part in the 15th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique in April 24-26\, 2026. Changes to FIA regulations will enable the Organizing and Selection Committee at Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) to reserve a specific class for them\, as originally planned for 2022\, when the Race G was introduced\, for F1 single-seaters that raced at Monaco Grand Prix from 1981 to 1985. \nThe stars\, however\, and to the delight of those nostalgic for F1’s golden age\, are likely to remain the 3-liter-engined single-seaters. Generally equipped with Ford Cosworth DFV V8s\, their advent in 1966 fundamentally changed the image and reputation of F1. An expected field of 80 to 100 cars in Race D to G\, all generally in a state of perfect preservation\, capable of racing faster than fifty years ago on the streets of Monaco\, in much better grip conditions and in complete safety. \nKeen to preserve the identity of the Grand Prix\, the organizers decided to keep the Race A1\, reserved exclusively for pre-war cars\, considering that the Bugatti cars (35\, 37 and 51) and the Maserati are the DNA of the Monaco Grand Prix. \nFor the rest\, the Race A2 (post-war\, front-engines) and the Race C (sportscars) will continue unchanged\, as will the five other F1 grids\, which will present the evolution of Grand Prix racing over almost 40 years (from 1946 to 1985). Several tributes and anniversaries are already planned\, in the authentic and majestic setting of the Principality’s circuit\, and several fine pages of motor racing history will be turned\, with sound\, vibrations and smells included\, during this 15th edition of Grand Prix Historique de Monaco
