SUMMARY:Magna Carta International Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Step back into the Middle Ages on Saturday February 7 under the roof of the Chapiteau de l’Espace Fontvieille! From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.\, you can witness intense period-costumed combat as part of the Magna Carta International Tournament\, a project led by a community of historical reenactment and medieval combat enthusiasts. \nIn this tournament\, 10 teams—seven from France\, one from Spain\, and two from Italy—are made up of a maximum of 12 fighters. From 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, you can watch these warriors train. The competition\, seven against seven\, starts at 3 p.m…. “From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.\, this is precisely the most spectacular period\,” they say. \nAdmission for residents and guests of Monaco will be free\, and the event is expected to be broadcast live on the official Magna Carta YouTube channel.
