SUMMARY:Monacollecte 2026
DESCRIPTION:Monacollecte 2026 is organized on March 6 & 7\, 2026 from 10 am to 7 pm at the Fontvieille Espace. \nThe Prince’s Government and the Monegasque Sanitation Company (SMA)\, in partnership with the Monaco City Hall and Carrefour\, are once again holding MonaCollecte\, their solidarity event focused on collecting\, reusing\, and recycling waste. This year\, the theme of this 5th edition is “Zero Waste.” \nDuring this event\, bring everything you want to get rid of to one convenient location! Several charities will be on hand to collect items that can be reused (clothing\, toys\, books\, computer equipment\, small appliances\, etc.). The rest will be processed through SMA’s recycling or treatment channels. Free activities and information booths about waste collection\, sorting\, recycling\, reduction\, and reuse will be available.

DESCRIPTION:PowHer returns for the third consecutive year. The event will take place on Friday\, March 6\, 2026\, at Espace Léo Ferré from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. \nAn educational scavenger hunt \nTo mark International Women’s Day\, the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights invites you to advance a fundamental cause: women’s rights. Follow this fun and educational journey through the different stages of a woman’s life. \nThis journey\, which can be completed in any order\, is punctuated by challenges to overcome\, milestones to reach\, and victories where each step brings you closer to the finish line. At the end of the journey\, a gateway stands\, a symbol of achievement\, but not a final destination. While significant progress has been made\, nothing is ever truly guaranteed when it comes to women’s rights and equality. \nRules of the Game \nObjective: Find the password to get on stage and cross the finish line \nTo start\, take a bracelet with the name of a woman who made history.\nParticipate in the activities along the track to get clues.\nFind the password associated with your bracelet.\nGet on stage and cross the finish line! \nA Unique Scenography \nAn original scenography based on the theme of sport occupies the entire Léo Ferré space\, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the issue of equality between men and women. The finish line\, which must be earned\, will be an opportunity to participate in a unique collective artwork created by Mr One Teas. This will allow visitors to contribute to the collective effort of this day and leave with a souvenir. \nAlso\, discover a photo exhibition by Sébastien Salamand\, aka Le Turk\, showcasing Monegasque female athletes. Six sports will be represented: rugby\, football\, basketball\, judo\, athletics\, and gymnastics. \nEloquence Competition \nAs in previous years\, an oratory competition will take place on the same day\, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the National Council chamber. This event will be an opportunity to discover the vision of high school students in the Principality on the theme “A Story of Equality: From Ego to Equals.” The competition will be broadcast live on Monaco Info. Registration is open until February 15\, 2026.
