SUMMARY:Fort Antoine Festival 2026 Edition
DESCRIPTION:“This year\, the Fort Antoine Festival promises a rich program of discoveries and emotions. True to its identity\, the theater remains at the heart of an exceptional setting. The 2026 edition will celebrate the connections between art forms—theater\, musical readings\, and literature—for truly beautiful artistic moments. \nThe festival will open with Dissonances Jeanne d’Arc. Born from improvisations\, this creation blurs the lines between reality and fiction\, between character and performer\, to surprise and awaken curiosity. \nA great name in literature will then be revisited with delicacy thanks to the sunny voice of Vincent Fernandel. Accompanied by piano\, he breathes new life into the words of Marcel Pagnol in an intimate and luminous dialogue. \nWith 8 Evenings a Week\, the musical reading takes on a tone that is both melancholic and humorous\, brought to life by Vincent Dedienne\, Camille Chamoux\, and Léopoldine HH. \nOn the music front\, the concerts will open up a multitude of horizons\, ranging from travel to introspection. Guitar virtuoso Thibault Cauvin will share his encounters through a musical narrative more personal than ever. Dominique Fils-Aimé will create a suspended atmosphere\, imbued with nuance and sensitivity. \nA key figure since the 1980s\, Stephan Eicher continues to innovate alongside his longtime collaborator\, drummer Osomo. Together\, they experiment with the past and will take you into the future\, not without a touch of nostalgia. The festival will close with the lightness and talent of the sublime quartet A Bocca Chiusa and their performance Sans cible—a distillation of joy and generosity. \nThe 4th edition of the Open Stage reaffirms the Principality’s commitment to young people\, offering emerging artists\, eager to share their passion\, a unique space for expression.” \nFrançoise Gamerdinger \nDirector of Cultural Affairs

SUMMARY:Thibault Cauvin
DESCRIPTION:Fort Antoine Festival continues with a concert of Thibault Cauvin on 2 July 2026 at 9.30 pm. \nAlter Ego is a unique artistic experience. First a novel\, then an album\, and now a tour\, all recounting fifteen fleeting encounters across the globe that profoundly marked Thibault Cauvin’s life and transformed his worldview. \nInspired by true stories\, the narrative blends poetry\, philosophical reflection\, and humanity through characters like Carmen\, Kaori\, Constanza\, and Sabbir. Each composition bears the name of one of these individuals and draws inspiration from the cultures\, emotions\, and dreamlike world evoked in the book. Co-written with his brother Jordan\, these original pieces offer a free and modern vision of the classical guitar. \nOn stage\, Thibault Cauvin presents a concert that is both intimate and spectacular\, where the music itself tells a story. A passionate storyteller\, he shares his tales with humor and sensitivity\, inviting the audience to travel\, reflect\, and feel. \nThibault Cauvin is a guitar prodigy who\, at the age of 20\, became the most decorated guitarist in the world with 36 international awards. He has toured over 130 countries and given nearly 1\,500 concerts on the most prestigious stages on the planet\, from London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall to Beijing’s Forbidden City. Thibault Cauvin’s discography is as eclectic as it is personal. His previous album\, L’heure miroir\, a duo album with -M-\, released in June 2024\, was followed by a sold-out tour in exceptional venues.

SUMMARY:Marcel Pagnol - Variations d'amour (Variations of Love)
DESCRIPTION:Marcel Pagnol – Variations d’amour (Variations of Love)\, poetic and musical duo\, continues the programme of the Fort Antoin Festival on 14 July 2026 at 9.30 pm. \nFew authors are as famous as the works they have created. Even rarer are those poets who have captured the voices of their homeland and made them resonate in the hearts of the world. Marcel Pagnol is one of them. \nThanks to his words\, Provence has earned its place of honor far beyond the borders of these sun-drenched lands\, where joys abound as much as sorrows. \nThis performance takes the form of a musical reading conceived by Nicolas Pagnol\, painting an intimate and passionate portrait of the artist Marcel Pagnol\, who wrote of love with the talent of someone who had experienced it firsthand. \nBrought by the sun-drenched voice of Vincent Fernandel\, Pagnol’s words meet the poetry of Franck Ciup’s compositions\, in a setting woven from excerpts of famous works and personal correspondence.

SUMMARY:8 evenings a week
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, for one evening only\, Vincent Dedienne and Camille Chamoux\, two leading figures of stage and screen\, will take a break at Fort Antoine on 23 July 2026 at 9.30 pm. There\, they will candidly share their doubts\, their vulnerabilities\, but also their deep connection to others\, through intimate and generous confessions. A musical reading that proves to be a true gem\, blending finesse\, humor\, and a beautiful artistic rapport. \nCamille Chamoux and Vincent Dedienne met on the set of Jonathan Cohen’s film “La Flamme” and have been inseparable ever since. While each was filming their respective one-man shows\, they realized they would be touring together in western France\, performing eight shows in seven days. \nThey then decided to begin a daily correspondence about this intense experience as solitary performers\, in which their melancholy\, as well as their humor\, is shared\, offering a true snapshot of contemporary theatrical decentralization. \nTo complement this exchange\, Vincent Dedienne invited a friend\, singer and actress Léopoldine HH\, to join them to sing songs by Anne Sylvestre and provide musical accompaniment to the reading. \nProduction and distribution: Théâtre de Lorient – Centre Dramatique National\nOriginal idea: Vincent Dedienne\nMusical adaptation: Léopoldine HH\, based on texts by Anne Sylvestre\nText\, direction\, and performance: Vincent Dedienne\, Camille Chamoux\, and Léopoldine HH
