It will highlight landmark firsts at the stadium: the first football match\, the first world record\, the first archery competition\, the first concert\, the first boxing gala and many others. \nThanks to archives\, photographs and posters contributed by various organisations and bodies\, visitors will have the opportunity to relive these historic occasions and gain a sense of the impact that the Louis II Stadium has had on sport and culture in Monaco.

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Monaco’s architectural heritage
DESCRIPTION:Organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs with support from SOGEDA Monaco\, this exhibition is a follow up of a photography competition of young people aged 11 to 25\, on the theme of “Monaco’s architectural heritage”. \nThe idea is to get young people involved in protecting Monaco’s heritage and showcase the creativity of the Principality’s young people\, and the project is part of the European Heritage Days 2025 programme\, running under the theme of architecture. \nAn expert panel of judges selected 15 photographs\, paying particular attention to the artistic aspect of the young competitors’ work\, as well as to their unique perspective on the architectural heritage of their city. \nA youth panel made up of students from Monaco chose four winning entries from these 15 photographs. These are on display from 6 June to 5 October 2025 on the Railings in the St Martin Gardens. \nThe exhibition will then travel to Strasbourg in 2026\, during Monaco’s Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

It is not just about crossing the line first\, but also about using alternative designs and energy sources that reduce environmental impact. These can include solar energy\, hydrogen\, electricity\, and other renewable energy sources. One of the key innovations in the 12th Monaco Energy Boat Challenge will be the expansion of the Energy category\, which has served as a laboratory for testing zero-emission prototypes since 2018. This year\, the Solar class will be discontinued and replaced by more diverse and promising solutions\, which will be showcased in the Energy category or the Sea Lab category\, as well as the new AI category starting in 2025. In the AI category\, participants will have the opportunity to showcase autonomous vessels\, marking an important step in the integration of artificial intelligence into the maritime industry. \nThe event will also continue to support innovation with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Sustainable Yachting Technology Award\, which will be presented for the best technological solution in energy efficiency and/or carbon emission reduction.

DESCRIPTION:From July 5 to September 14\, 2025\, the State Apartments of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco will host the exhibition “Grace” #1\, a sensitive and unique invitation to rediscover the luminous and multifaceted personality of Princess Grace\, born Grace Patricia Kelly. \nConceived under the shared vision of Natalia Mlodzikowska\, Exhibitions Manager at the Collections Department of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco and General Curator\, and guest artistic curator Marie-Eve Mestre\, this exhibition offers an intimate approach\, far from clichés and rigid representations\, to reveal the woman behind the icon: her nuances\, her emotions\, her quiet strength. \nSpread over 90 m² in three rooms of the Palace\, “Grace” #1 draws primarily from the collections and archives of the Prince’s Palace. Photographs\, personal objects\, jewelry\, and accessories poignantly tell the story of the woman behind the icon: a sensitive\, brilliant\, courageous\, and free figure. \nThe immersive scenography\, designed like a cozy setting\, recreates an intimate and poetic universe. A velvet curtain\, subdued lighting\, a carpet to soften the footsteps… all combine to make this exhibition a precious interlude. Never-before-seen portraits in various formats are displayed alongside objects dear to the Princess: glasses\, gloves\, hats\, and of course\, the famous Hermès Kelly bag. DESCRIPTION:Exhibition: “Colours! Pompidou Centre Masterpieces” is held from Tuesday 8 July to Sunday 31 August 2025\, 10 am to 8 pm in the Grimaldi Forum Monaco. \nThe Grimaldi Forum Monaco and the Centre Pompidou present “Colours!”\, an exhibition about the modern history of colour as embodied by some of the 20th century’s greatest masterpieces. Curator Didier Ottinger has assembled more than 100 works by artists including Sonia Delaunay\, Picasso\, Matisse\, and Basquiat. As visitors explore the seven exhibition spaces\, each devoted to a single colour\, they will also hear audio creations by Roque Rivas\, smell fragrances from Alexis Dadier from perfume maker Fragonard\, and admire designs by the likes of Ron Arad\, Jean Prouvén\, and Philippe Starck. Marion Maelander will design the installations\, while William Chatelain will orchestrate the scenography\, creating an enthralling and emotional experience of colour.
