Nativity Trail

Discover a fascinating selection of beautiful hand-made nativity scenes from around the world on from Saturday 8 December 2018 to Tuesday 8 January 2019, Monaco-Ville!

The nativity scenes are displayed in bespoke chalets and in certain buildings around Monaco, which can be visited via a special itinerary.

Follow the trail and admire the variety and beauty of these scenes from different countries, along with the heritage of the legendary Rock of Monaco, with its typical narrow streets, sumptuous architecture and splendid Palace, which has been home to the Sovereign Princes of Monaco since the Middle Ages.

Also the ultimate interactive adventure for LEGO® fans, BRICKLIVE is in Monaco. Following the success of BRICKLIVE Christmas in London’s Saatchi Gallery in 2017, BRICKLIVE Christmas is in the Grimaldi Forum to offer fans the ultimate brick-building experience for the entire family during the Christmas holidays. From brick-built Christmas decorations to a dedicated Star Wars Zone, the show is a must-visit for fans of all ages and the perfect way to celebrate the festive season. Visitors can expect an interactive experience, stretching across the Grimaldi Forum. Enthusiasts will be able to explore themed zones and build their way through a unique seasonal journey. From Christmas and creative build zones, through to Minecraft and Galactic adventures, each zone will provide a different brick-based, interactive activity for fans to build their dream creations. BRICKLIVE Christmas will showcase all the best bits of BRICKLIVE shows in 2018, but with a super fun festive theme. Activities will include an interactive LEGO Friends area with a Monaco build map with all the favourite construction bricks, colourful brick pits with 250,000 bricks to create with, a 10m graffiti wall, our famously fun race ramps to shoot you cars down and much, much more. The main attraction of the event will be the professionally built Animal Paradise LEGO statues along with a selection of Christmassy themed builds which provide lots and lots of selfie opportunities!

Oceanographic Museum of Monaco

If you have time go to the ImmerSEAve 360° in Oceanographic Museum of Monaco which has two new movies, in total there are four films for an unforgettable dive into the oceans.

“Meet the monk seal”: August 24 2017. The teams of the explorations of Monaco went again to the sea to meet the monk seal, the most endangered marine mammal in the world. Embark on this exciting adventure in Madeira and the Desertas Islands!

“The mystery of giant lizards”: September 15, 2017. The study of birds and lizards in the Selvagens Islands or Branco, Cabo Verde, show the close link that connects the land to the ocean. Scientists from the Monaco Explorations are trying to explain the disappearance of the giant skink.
