On 04 November 2017, at 8 p.m. starring Cecilia Bartoli and Les Musiciens du Prince, there is one last performance of La Cenerentola, a coproduction with the Monte Carlo Opera. You are prommissed an unforgettable evening, for this Cinderella became Princess of the Lyric…

Picked by Rossini in twenty four days only, the Cenerentola is, in spite of the failure of its creation in Rome in 1817, a delicious masterpiece where the screw comica never masks the emotion which appears.

Twenty years ago, Cecilia Bartoli took on the role of Cenerentola / Cinderella in the eponymous work by Rossini at the Zurich Opera. Immediately, his incarnation, alternately fiery, tender, dazzling, mutinous and imperious, made this spectacle a cult performance of the most famous Swiss opera house.
