Love and Travel: Amour Forum in Monaco

From 11th to 14th March in The Fairmont Monte Carlo the B2B (business to business) Forum Amour Love Travel was held, dedicated to the latest trends in the romance travel industry. The event was organized by the British company “Worldwide Events”. It was carried out in a very dynamic format, which included 13-minute express meetings of interested parties (event managers, and organizers of the most special celebrations in people’s lives) with suppliers of romance tourist services. These meetings were assigned in a very innovative way. A specially developed application allowed you to book in just one-click the time of an appointment with the seller of the service. It was also possible to rate the quality of this two-way communication.

On the program were not only business meetings, but also sports programs and award ceremonies, in particular the Love Travel Awards that took place in Salle des Étoiles. The Forum’s closing session was held in the famous Villa Ephrussi Rothschild.

Amour Marketing Manager Julia told HelloMonaco about the main idea that stands behind the Forum: “We wanted to create a space that would unite all the professionals in the sphere of romance traveling, where, on the one hand, there are buyers of services, and on the other hand, the leading representatives of this business who offer the best properties for the celebrations. We believe that the business structure is most effective when it combines official meetings with meetings with “no ties”. We are ready to provide romantic trips of any kind: from honeymoons, and “baby-moons” to any non-trivial inquiries from lovebirds”.

A representative of the British wedding company “Pocketful of Dreams” shared her vision of the ideal venue for a wedding ceremony.

“On the one hand, if I had the opportunity to choose the ideal location for a wedding, it would be Villa Ephrussi Rothschild, because it combines an impressive history and exciting architecture at the same time. On the other hand, a wedding in a classic and very elegant style stays a priority. It’s not always worth chasing trends.”

Within the framework of the event were presented many exclusive romantic destinations, from private islands in Thailand, weekends in Latin America, to mini boutique hotels all around the world. However, HelloMonaco could not resist the charm of a particularly special medieval castle in Tuscany. The official representative of “Castel Monastero” told us about the extraordinary possibilities of holding romantic events of any kind in the castle.
