1. The iconic 74.5m Enigma is now sold
Enigma, the 74.5-meter superyacht built as Eco in 1991 by German shipyard, Blohm+Voss for the late Mexican businessman, Emilio Azcarraga, has now sold at a last recorded asking price of €47,5 million, less than a year after coming on the market.
2. 80m superyacht under construction at Columbus Yachts
The construction of the new Columbus 80m marks the debut of Columbus Yachts in the megayacht segment. Built with a new approach to construction processes, she features classic yet contemporary lines, developed on six decks, and will be the first unit in a range that will grow on larger sizes.

4. Lurssen delivers 74m superyacht Aurora
Lurssen have launched the 74-meter Aurora at their facility in Rendsburg, Germany, in March 2017. Now Moran Yacht & Ship announced that the vessel has been delivered, which was also confirmed by the German shipyard.
5. Laurent Giles introduces 110m superyacht concept HEMY
British naval architecture studio Laurent Giles have presented 110m superyacht concept HEMY. She is able to accommodate 12 guests, as well as a crew of 34.
Laurent Giles have been developing this design concept for a High Efficiency Motor Yacht hull (HEMY) which embodies the principles of offering far higher maximum and cruising speeds for roughly the same power as a typical 70m yacht. The low hydrodynamic drag of the hull form is enhanced by low simple superstructures to reduce windage drag and an advanced hybrid diesel electric propulsion system. The low, aerodynamically efficient superstructure helps to keep the centre of gravity low, which means the hull has good form stability despite its slender beam of 12.5m.
6. Claydon Reeves and Rolls-Royce present Aeroboat S6 concept
British design studio Claydon Reeves has teamed up with Rolls-Royce for 19.8m Aeroboat S6 concept, that has been presented in London last week. Aluminum and carbon built yacht features naval architecture by BMT Nigel Gee with a design from Claydon Reeves.
7. Baglietto launches first MV19 yacht Ridoc
After the launch of M/Y Andiamo last week, 48m yacht in steel and aluminum, it is now the time of Ridoc, first MV19 model welcomed last Saturday June 10th by the Owner and his friends with all the Baglietto team. The project of 19.50m represents the evolution of the MV13 and has been designed by Francesco Paszkowski with Baglietto, both in terms of the exterior lines and the interiors. The shipyard’s technical office is responsible for the hull, plant and propulsion designs.
The MV series draws its inspiration from the First and Second World War, paying tribute to the military crafts that made the history of the Liguria-based yachting brand by reinterpreting some of their features and shapes in a modern style matching them with architectural elements adapted from the open segment. The symmetrical air intakes along the hull free board underline the style of both Francesco Paszkowski and the Baglietto open lines themselves. The metallic dark grey color enhances the aggressive lines of the boat giving her strength and power.
The deep V-shaped hull allows high performances and improved seakeeping as well as perfect maneuverability. The yacht, entirely built in aluminium, can reach a maximum speed of approximately 40 knots thanks to twin MAN V12 1800hp engines.
8. Dynamiq Yachts Jetsetter runs aground in Bermuda
According to a local Bermudan website Bernews, 39m superyacht Jetsetter ran aground in the Stag Rocks area of West Bermuda at 1pm on June 11.
The vessel has been removed in the evening the same day but initial attempts to pull the yacht of the reef failed so it has been decided to free the vessel on the next tide. All guests were taken into safety while the attempts were made. No water intake or any injuries were reported.
