Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo will be offering a particularly captivating dance program this spring and summer 2019.  Highlights of the company’s next choreographic seasons include two unique creations.

The first, by Jean-Christophe Maillot, will remind audiences of the ‘F(Ê)AITES DE LA DANSE!’ An exceptional production which took place on 1 July 2017 which featured dancers from the company. Accompanied by Antonio Castrignanò and his orchestra from Apulia, they played Coré Meu by Jean-Christophe Maillot to cheering crowds at Place du Casino.

After having welcomed its members for more than 35 years at their location on avenue Président J.F. Kennedy, the Temps de Vivre Club has just moved.  The Club, reserved for retired residents of the Principality, includes 195 members between the ages of 57 and 96.  They recently took up their new quarters at the beginning of January in their temporary premises, located at 4, boulevard Charles III.

Didier Gamerdinger, Minister for Health and Social Affairs was busy back then dotting the I’s and crossing the t’s for the Government. At the same time the Conseil National has been leading the charge. It is clearly happy with the final result, following input from their own Primo constituents. They have voted unanimously for the law. The world is spinning around and Monaco will compete with the best now seven days a week. Excelling in a fiercely competitive global market-place is the name of the game.

From January 17 to 27, the 43rd Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival will take place in the Principality. This is one of the most exciting annual events in Monaco. Rich programme, breathtaking performances, big names… For 43 years, the festival has drawn the attention of the international circus community. During this period, different generations of famous circus dynasties took part in the event.

Though, the festival couldn’t immediately conquer the hearts of viewers and artists.

Christmas trees that once lit up homes across Monaco can now have a second life, thanks to a collection service that began last year.  Instead of throwing trees away or abandoning them on the streets of the Principality, bring in the new year with an environmentally responsible deed by recycling your evergreen (and helping the community remain evergreen).
