“Our common values, defending human rights, democracy, the rules of law, are among the constant priorities of a modern state.”

Prince Albert II also advocated the fight against all forms of violence, calling, among other things, for the improvement of the status of women. He also welcomed the signing of the Voluntary Pact between the United Nations and Member States to eradicate exploitation and sexual abuse by peacekeepers and civilian organizations within the United Nations.
On the subject of climate change, Prince Albert II said that Monaco has already announced drastic measures that will help to change “our modes of transport, production and consumption”.
“Whether it reassures us or frightens us, science must invite us to action and move us forward together, for progress and the hope of a better world.”

During his visit, Prince Albert was able to speak with senior officers and cadets during an informal lunch and a Q & A meeting in the presence of a French student from Saint Cyr.
