The Japanese Garden
Things to do and see in Monaco: Japanese Garden
The Japanese Garden of the Principality of Monaco is the oasis of greenery and peace, which is especially precious on a hot summer day. It is located along the Avenue of Princess Grace, in front of the Grimaldi Forum, and extends to about 7000 square meters.
A Japanese architect landscape painter, Yasuo Beppu, created the garden. It is a true work of art, which combines rock, water, and plants in an incredibly harmonious manner. There are plenty of cozy corners, and a special atmosphere reigns here: the scenting azaleas, rosebays, and camellias. Huge multicolored carps are swimming in the pond, and children love watching them.
The garden is open for visitors daily from 9 AM until the sunset.
