Monaco Yacht Show 2018 Biggest Superyachts

Yacht owners, future superyacht purchasers or charterers, decision-makers in the yachting and luxury industries attend the Monaco Yacht Show to celebrate the quintessence of the superyacht lifestyle.

Every year, 120 extraordinary one-off superyachts are on display, of which 40 new launches are unveiled in a worldwide debut. The fascinating international superyacht event will take place between 26-29 September 2018 in the iconic Port Hercules of the Principality of Monaco.

Here are the top 5 biggest superyachts that will be sure to make waves at this year’s yacht show!

Kismet

The 95.2-metre Kismet is a superyacht built by the Lürssen shipyard in 2014. It’s managed by the Moran Yacht and Ship chartering business and is associated with billionaire Shahid Khan. It was finished in a luxurious style by Reymond Langton and Espen Øeino. The fittings were specified to be better than a five star hotel and included a deck of black marble and a large bath made of solid onyx.

Dar

The 90-metre Oceanco motor yacht Dar was built by Oceanco in Netherlands at their Alblasserdam shipyard and was delivered to her owner in 2018. Previously named Oceanco Y717, her luxurious interior was designed by Nuvolari & Lenard. Dar’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 6 cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 31 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Air

The 81-metre custom motor yacht Air was built in 2011 by Feadship and last refitted in 2017. This luxury vessel’s sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of De Voogt. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Remi Tessier and the exterior styling is by De Voogt.

Go

Turkish yard Turquoise has delivered its largest yacht to date in the form of the 77-metre Go. It comes was previously known as Project NB63, was launched in March and completed successful sea trials shortly afterwards. Go departed the shipyard to make maiden voyage cruising the Mediterranean. Her world debut at last year’s Monaco Yacht Show.

Elandess

German Yard Abeking and Rasmussen delivered its new 74.5-metre superyacht Elandess. First announced in the 2016 Global Order Book, this 2,065GT steel and aluminium yacht was styled inside and out by the London-based Harrison Eidsgaard design studio. Following her delivery, Elandess was spotted making her way up the Thames to London on her maiden voyage.
