As the sun climbs high over the Côte d’Azur, beach towels unfurl, sunglasses slip into place, and the Mediterranean shimmers with its signature allure. But amid the picture-perfect scenery of Monaco and its neighbouring beaches, there’s a small—but stinging—visitor making waves this summer: jellyfish.
Prince Albert II and Mayor Georges Marsan congratulated the 68 winners of the 2025 Monegasque language competition in the main courtyard of Monaco City Hall on June 16. The event began with the Monegasque anthem, sung by the U Cantin d'A Roca choir, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
