Anniversary of the Liberation of Monaco

On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Liberation of the Principality, a Remembrance Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., at the Monaco Cemetery.

To commemorate this event, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the War Memorial and on the graves of the two Monegasque Resistance heroes, Mr. René Borghini and Mr. Joseph Lajoux, followed by a prayer for the dead, the ringing of the bells, a minute of silence, a prayer for peace, and the performance of the national anthems by the Municipal Band, conducted by Mr. Pierre Proust.
