Baroque Music Concert

Baroque Music Concert “From Darkness to Light, From Darkness to Light, Actus Tragicus and Christmas Cantata” organized by the Direction des Affaires Culturelles will be held on 4 December 2025 at 8.30 pm in Eglise Saint-Charles.

With this program, the Concerto Soave Ensemble performs the cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach, a true treasure of Western music. Each cantata is associated with a liturgical feast, resulting in an infinite variety ranging from the darkest expressions of human distress to radiant celebrations of faith and eternity. To illustrate this passage from darkness to light, the Ensemble has created a program where the joy of Christmas follows the evocation of death.
