Charles Berling is a guest at Fort Antoine on 22 July 2025 at 9.30 pm and, for an evening, serves as the voice of Prince Albert I by reading excerpts from The Career of a Navigator, the Prince’s emblematic work, which recounts his scientific campaigns to the Azores and Spitsbergen in 1898.

In his observations, Prince Albert I demonstrates a pioneering spirit, developing a great interest in nature and living things; these remarks are reminiscent of current concerns regarding ocean preservation, in this Year of the Sea.
As every year, this summer season of the Fort Antoine Theatre, running from 1 to 29 July 2025, offers a varied programme of theatre and music in the unique and iconic setting of Fort Antoine.
