Amori is an ode to love in all its forms.
Jean-Charles Papi shares with us his attachment to his land and his desire to share it: “There are special energies here, we’re magnetized.”
A centerpiece of his artistic and personal commitment, the Corsican language is central to his performances, but the artist doesn’t neglect English and French. In this fifth album, he covers two landmarks of French song: “Je suis malade” and “Avant de nous dire adieu,” adapted into the Corsican language.
In keeping with his previous albums, Amori perfectly embodies Jean-Charles Papi’s universe: rhythm, joy, and emotion.
This concert is a musical, dreamlike, and festive journey with many surprises.
As every year, this summer season of the Fort Antoine Theatre, running from 1 to 29 July 2025, offers a varied programme of theatre and music in the unique and iconic setting of Fort Antoine.
