Concert of Sanseverino will be on stage of the Fort Antoine Theatre on 8 July 2025 at 9.30 pm.
Inspired by gypsy music, gypsy jazz, and the electric music of the 1940s and 1950s, from Django to Zappa, Stéphane, aka Sanseverino, has been making eccentric and virtuoso offerings for twenty years. Transitioning effortlessly from gypsy swing to rock and blues, his albums span decades of music and influences, always with virtuosity and precision.
At Fort Antoine this summer, he presents his latest album, “C’était mieux maintenant,” an opus influenced by Africa, 1970s blues, and New Orleans funk.
A committed artist, he gets down to business and tackles “touchy” topics: climate change, lawless capitalism, immigration, and more.
As every year, this summer season of the Fort Antoine Theatre, running from 1 to 29 July 2025, offers a varied programme of theatre and music in the unique and iconic setting of Fort Antoine.
