A lecture on the theme of Contemporary art and philosophy as seen through the lens of Nicolas Poussin is organized on 1 April 2026 at 6.30 pm in Nouveau Musée National de Monaco.

As part of the exhibition “The Feeling for Nature: Contemporary Art in the Mirror of Nicolas Poussin,” the New National Museum of Monaco and the Monaco Philosophical Encounters are joining forces for a discussion with Ange Leccia, artist (two of whose works from the museum’s collections are currently on display); Vincent Delecroix, writer and philosopher, author of *Poussin, a Day in Arcadia*, 2015 (Flammarion); and Fabien Danesi, art historian and director of the FRAC Corsica.

Ange Leccia will discuss his artistic approach, and Vincent Delecroix will present his book and research. Fabien Danesi will then moderate their conversation, exploring the influence of Nicolas Poussin’s work.
