Le Prix in the Princess Grace Theatre

The play Le Prix will be on stage of the Princess Grace Theatre on Thursday April 23 at 8 pm.

This is a story of striking relevance that you are about to witness. Yet it takes place in 1946.

Lise Meitner, an extraordinary physicist, was not awarded the Nobel Prize. It was Otto Hahn, with whom she had worked for over thirty years, who accepted it alone. This seemed normal at the time. But not to Lise. And when she knocks on Otto’s door, a few hours before he is to receive the prize, what follows is a tense, passionate, and relentless interview! But nothing is black and white here. Each has their own truth.

Otto is making his moves, and so is Lise, both constantly walking a tightrope. Because, in the end, there is always a price to pay.
