For his first solo choreography for Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, Paul Lightfoot takes us on an introspective journey, presenting a ballet that he feels will mark a turning point in his personal and professional life. More than ever, the concept of live art informs this work, in which the choreographer explores his relationship with others and the essential collective dimension of a creative piece.
William Forsythe’s iconic ballet, Herman Schmerman, is the second work the choreographer created for the New York City Ballet.
