The Art of the Cinema: “The Eagle with Two Heads”

The screening of the Restored film “The Eagle with Two Heads”, by Jean Cocteau (1947) will take place on Tuesday 3 October 2023, at 8 pm in Théâtre des Variétés, in the presence of the partners who made it possible. Adapting his own play for the screen, Cocteau draws on all his mastery of the cinematic art to give this “French tragedy” a fantastical colour.
