July 11 @ 10:00 am - August 31 @ 8:00 pm
€7 – €14
The exhibition “Monaco and the Napoleon(s): lntertwined Destinies” will, for the first time, invite visitors to explore the strong ties that united the reigns of the two French emperors, Napoleon I and Napoleon Ill, with the Grimaldi dynasty. To recount this fascinating and little-known history-marked by grandeur, power, military exploits, and persona! relationships-the event will bring together major historical artifacts that illustrate the origins and formation of the contemporary Monegasque State.
Artistic and Historical Treasures Unveiled for the First Time
Thanks to the collaboration of leading French and Monegasque museums, prestigious private collections and the invaluable support of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco-providing access to numerous treasures from its collections and archives-nearly 200 works of unique historical and artistic significance, many of which have rarely or never been shown to the public, will be gathered for this exhibition.
