28th edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique
@acm.mc

28th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, held from Thursday 29 January comes to an end this Saturday 7 February.

The 28th edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique marks a major turning point in the history of the Monegasque event. Far more than a simple regularity competition, this new edition introduces long-awaited changes requested by participants and approved by the Automobile Club of Monaco’s Organizing Committee – without compromising the authentic, popular spirit that built its reputation. With revised dates, a broader vehicle selection (models raced between 1911 and 1986), six starting cities, and – most notably – regularity stages run on closed roads, the 2025 route showcases a bold “new-look” as the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique enters in a fully new era!

@magnacarta.world

Step back into the Middle Ages on Saturday February 7 under the roof of the Chapiteau de l’Espace Fontvieille! From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., you can witness intense period-costumed combat as part of the Magna Carta International Tournament, a project led by a community of historical reenactment and medieval combat enthusiasts.

In this tournament, 10 teams—seven from France, one from Spain, and two from Italy—are made up of a maximum of 12 fighters. From 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can watch these warriors train. The competition, seven against seven, starts at 3 p.m…. “From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., this is precisely the most spectacular period,” they say.

Admission for residents and guests of Monaco will be free, and the event is expected to be broadcast live on the official Magna Carta YouTube channel.

The play “Lennon and McCartney” will be on stage of Théâtre des Muses on Thursday 5th, Friday 6th, Saturday 7th at 8:00 pm and Sunday 8th February at 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm.

What if John Lennon and Paul McCartney, the two Beatles legends, had finally met one November morning in 1980? If Paul had rung John’s doorbell, the world might have been different. This is the starting point of this musical, the first to tell the story of the Beatles, which revisits excerpts from their greatest hits and immerses us in the heart of an extraordinary friendship.

Cactus Exhibition at Villa Sauber
@Direction de la Communication/Manuel Vitali

And don’t forget about the exhibitions. For example the New National Museum of Monaco is dedicating an original exhibition to cacti and succulent plants on 06.07.2025 – 11.01.2026, in collaboration with the YVES SAINT LAURENT Museum in Marrakech, which initiated the project in 2024. Curated by Marc Jeanson and Laurent Le Bon, with scenography by Jasmin Oezcebi, “Cactus” offers a dual perspective, botanical and artistic, on these plants.

Of course there are other interesting events taking place in Monaco. If you want to learn more about them visit our Calendar.

So have fun and enjoy your weekend!
