It’s a quiet holiday weekend in Monaco. Celebrations just ended but there are still quite a few things you can do. And here we selected a few suggestions for you.

You can still enjoy a stroll in the 2025 Christmas Village – “In the Land of Teddy Bears”. Come experience the magic of the holidays in the Port of Monaco from December 5th, 2025 to January 4th, 2026: treats, gift ideas, and a magical atmosphere to share with family and friends.

Or come and glide across the ice rink at the Rainier III Nautical Stadium again. From December 5, 2025 to March 1, 2026, enjoy a fun-filled time with family and friends in the heart of Monaco.

Christmas Nativity Trail

Christmas Nativity Trail is organized from Friday 8 December 2024 to Monday 5 January 2025 in Monaco-Ville.

On the wishes of HSH the Sovereign Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Principality’s Nativity Trail was founded in 2014 in Monaco’s Old Town, to bring festive Christmas cheer and convey the culture and values embodied by nativity scenes from every continent. Each year, nativity scenes are displayed all along the trail, set up in specially installed chalets and in the various State buildings in the Old Town district.

My Bayadère
@www.balletsdemontecarlo.com

A large-scale ballet, My Bayadère (from December 27 till January 4 in the Grimaldi Forum Monaco) marks Jean-Christophe Maillot’s return to this narrative style he so cherishes, “made of emotions that resonate with us, with gestures that unite us.” Aligning an academic vocabulary with a narrative that speaks to our times… the credo of the Choreographer-Director of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo has remained unchanged over the years.

Football

All football fans should come and support their team in Ligue 1 McDonald’s – D17 match between AS Monaco and Olympique Lyonnais, held on Saturday 3 January 2026 at 5 pm on Stade Louis II.

Cactus Exhibition at Villa Sauber

And don’t forget about the exhibitions. For example the New National Museum of Monaco is dedicating an original exhibition to cacti and succulent plants on 06.07.2025 – 11.01.2026, in collaboration with the YVES SAINT LAURENT Museum in Marrakech, which initiated the project in 2024. Curated by Marc Jeanson and Laurent Le Bon, with scenography by Jasmin Oezcebi, “Cactus” offers a dual perspective, botanical and artistic, on these plants.

Of course there are other interesting events taking place in Monaco. If you want to learn more about them visit our Calendar.

So have fun and enjoy your weekend!
