As autumn descends, the stage lights are already warmed up. Le Théâtre des Muses, a cultural gem perched above the Principality, invited theatre lovers to a series of free preview evenings from September 25 to October 5, 2025. These were seven special nights that were dedicated to unveiling a season bursting with creativity, passion, and delightful surprises.

A Visionary at the Helm: Anthéa Sogno

At the heart of this celebration stood Anthéa Sogno, actress, playwright, and the spirited artistic director of Le Théâtre des Muses. And Sogno has transformed the venue into a beacon for live performance.

For these preview evenings, she gave more than a simple presentation , a true one-woman show blending humour, personal anecdotes, and multimedia storytelling. Her goal was simple to make you want to see them all.

Her enthusiasm sets the tone for a season that will bring together acclaimed productions from the Festival d’Avignon, Parisian triumphs, and new theatrical discoveries ready to win the audience’s heart.

What’s Already Taking Shape

While the full lineup remains to be published, a few hints have already emerged from the wings.

Perhaps will be featured the moving play Ils ne méritent pas tes larmes (“They Don’t Deserve Your Tears”). Past seasons have included daring works such as Odyssey: The Musical Conference, blending theatre and music, perhaps to be shown again even, and tributes to Sacha Guitry with 60 jours de prison and Sacha contre Guitry.

Expect a richly varied program, balancing contemporary writing, hybrid forms, timeless classics, and emerging voices, all curated with Sogno’s signature flair for storytelling.

 Warmth, Connection, and Surprises

Those seven evenings were designed to foster the kind of connection that only live theatre can offer.

Each event concluded with a friendly cocktail, offering a chance for conversation between audience members, performers, and the theatre team, a hallmark of the venue’s intimate atmosphere.

Guests could also win free tickets to upcoming performances throughout the season, adding a touch of excitement to these festive evenings.

Beyond the Stage: A Home for Learning and Artistic Growth

Le Théâtre des Muses is much more than a performance space, it’s a living, breathing creative hub.

It offers acting classes and workshops year-round for children, teens, and adults, nurturing the next generation of artists. Its summer camps bring young performers together for week-long explorations of stagecraft and storytelling.

The building itself has a poetic origin: a former bakery lovingly transformed into a theatre, a nod to the warmth and craftsmanship that define its spirit. Remarkably, the venue is entirely privately funded, operating without permanent public subsidies, a testament to the dedication of its director and her team.
