On Tuesday morning, H.S.H. Princess Charlene visited the maternity ward of the Princess Grace Hospital Centre (CHPG), accompanied by the Monaco Red Cross. The visit was an opportunity to meet five new mothers and their newborns in a warm and caring atmosphere. The Princess shared words of comfort with the families and presented thoughtful gifts for both the parents and the babies.

Through this gesture, the Princess reaffirmed the importance of the family, regarded as an essential pillar of society and a fundamental part of Monaco’s social fabric.

In her capacity as Vice-President of the Monaco Red Cross, H.S.H. Princess Charlene also inaugurated, with the support of the CHPG, a first aid training workshop dedicated to infants and young children. Held in her presence, the workshop aims to raise parents’ awareness of life-saving actions and to strengthen both prevention and child safety.

Designed as a space for communication, mutual support, and caring learning, these workshops will soon be offered to parents from the very first days of their child’s life.

With this initiative, H.S.H. Princess Charlene, the Monaco Red Cross, and the CHPG reaffirm their shared commitment to prevention, training, and support for families — at the very heart of the Principality’s humanitarian mission.
