The Red & Whites got back on track on Saturday with a deserved 2-0 defeat of Caen. Keita Balde put the home side ahead in the 20th minute with his first goal for AS Monaco. Sent through by an inch-perfect through ball by Lemar, the Senegal striker coolly slotted past Vercoutre (1-0).

Buoyed by the opener, the Monegasques ramped up the pressure on the Caen goal.
